Chapter Twelve: My First Strong Fist

Kaiden and Valentina quickly went to the hospital until they found Valentina's mother lying on one of the hospital beds.

Caiden hinted at the sadness on Valentina's face

It looks really bad...

When sadness overwhelms you, you have no desire to deal with others, so you find enough space to discover yourself. The value of the things around you fade away, so you realize the value of what is inside you, the value of your soul that you have left after all that you lost, and you see that you have resisted all this sadness alone. You realize how much power you have and the value of the small things that are yours alone.

When sadness overtakes you, you don't care about time, or what is going on around you, and what you may be stressed in order to get rid of your sadness, so you find that you have exhausted yourself in work or thought that distracts you from what is going on inside you. So you accomplished it without realizing its difficulty, and overcame things you never realized that you had the ability to transcend similar ones, and gave up others that you thought you would not live a moment without.

Sadness has been falsely accused of being self-destructive and killing it.. But the truth is that it only does that when our souls grow old and decay, so it destroys what has grown old and what perished in order to help us build it again in a better style. Less naive, and more keen on himself, and on what is left inside his soul that remains for him in all cases.

Those returning from grief are more able to face the battles of life with a cheerful and important face that soars in the sky and is less sensitive to what is going on around them after realizing the true value of things, people and events..

Caiden never realized that the calm and strong Valentina was in such trouble

The doctor came and said that the patient needs to rest and keep her medication on time

Valentina nodded her head

"Do you want me to get some fresh air outside?" Kaiden asked, wanting to ease some of Valentina's apparent sadness.

Valentina smiled and then they left the hospital and sat on one of the chairs in front of the hospital

"You're so strong, Valentina," Kaiden said, thinking of anything to console her with

" strong you said Valentina replied, surprised

Nobody told her she was strong before

" Well, I mean, with all this trouble, and you don't show any signs of defeat, I'm the complete opposite of you. The first thing he did to me, I ran out of the house.. I ran away like a coward, but you're the opposite," Kaiden said proudly.

" You're a good man, Caiden." She smiled, then started crying again

"Oh..slow down, does everything I say make you cry? I'll get some fizzy stuff from the fridge over there, wait for me."

Then Kaiden returned to Valentina after he brought soft drinks from the refrigerator

And he sat next to Valentina

"Yes! What do you mean?" Valentina replied in confusion, not understanding what this man meant
