Prologue

Wind Brushed against Vincent clothing,light snow falling down. People screaming around him, everything seemed like a blur. He looked back at the ground as he heard siren in the distance. Many people were filming the scene others were trying to talk sense into him but he had made is decision. one step. He could hear the police trying to talk him out of it.two steps. Hurried stomping in the stair case. three steps. The wind picked up as he was one step from the edge. Four steps. He was now falling to his death, tears streaming down his face waiting for the impact one the floor trying to enjoy his last moments in this earth. Suddenly, something tackled him in the middle of his descent. Opening his eyes he noticed a boy with his eyes closed holding his body against him tightly. Even Vincent couldn't have predicted that would happen but the boy took the fall for him hitting his head on cement blocks as they skid on the pavement. Still holding tightly the boy slightly opened his eyes and asked if he was okay blood trickling down his face from the impact. Vincent started at the boy with many emotions coursing through his mind. worry,pain,regret even relief, relieved that someone actually cared about him for once. The mysterious boy quickly checked for any injuries on Vincent's body wincing at the massive wound on his arm from gliding onto the floor. Vincent soon began panicking even more when the boy started falling out of consciousness.The ambulance was already carrying the boy's body into a stretcher while he was checked for any major injury. The young teen on the streacher begged to have Vincent in the ambulance with him and his prayers were answered. On the ride to the hospital the boy finally stated his name.

Vincent responded with a light squeeze on his hand sobs escaping his mouth.

~Wait for me.

Vincent raised his head and stared at the laying boy. Skylar continued.

~Please..... wait for me.
