Elite summonings

"These are the skills you will inherit. Defeat them to be yours....." he said in a cold voice then walked back towards the guardian. His presence was slowly blocked by his summons.

The enemies then went ready to attack him anytime and Roan gulped a handful of saliva. He didn't know that enemies were this many. It was too much! All he could do was persevere until the end.

The summon then pointed his fingers at him and commanded him to attack. Roan then made his stance as he prepared for an all-out brawl.

The Skeleton warrior attacked and he dueled it. He drew his longsword and their weapons clashed.

Ting!

Roan then knee-kicked him and struck him on the chest. He elbowed the skeleton on the helm and then evaded the diagonal slash of the enemy. Further slashing it in the chest with a rising slash.

The skeleton marksman then fired at him and Roan stepped back and shielded using the skeleton warrior. Making it struck with the arrows.

The Skeleton knight then attacked covered from head to toe with armor and a shield and a sword. Roan then dashed towards him and leaped towards it. Knee kicking the shield which made it flung. Roan then grabbed the shield and then shielded the attacks of the skeleton mage and marksman.

He dashed towards them and slashed their heads apart. Roan then felt them dispersed like a blue mist and they went towards the summoner.

The Skeleton Reaper then attacked and Roan deflected its blows. Parries were fast and he was able to deflect the slashes. Roan immediately dashed and the enemy slashed. Evading the slash with a duck and then grabbing its face. Summoning his strength, he slammed its head toward the ground as if it was light. Its skull cracked into smithereens; ending its life afterward.

Roan then was slashed by the Skeleton knight and the Skeleton warrior in a combo. Roan backflipped and then landed further away. Evading their slash on the process. He dashed towards them and then made a sweep. Taking them down and leaping with a drop kick on their heads. Their skulls were then smashed even with their helms.

It was then, a Skeleton assassin attacked him with daggers in both hands. Roan threw a dagger toward him as a distraction then he slashed with a vertical slash. Made the enemy block with a half-second late block and his body was slashed in half. A critical strike from Roan.

Immediately, a Skeleton exploder attacked and Roan threw a combo of one two three throws at it from left and right hands. Making it explode immediately.

The Skeleton general then attacked and Roan dueled with him. Their blows were fast and Roan was panting. Swiping sweat then attacked again.

The enemy slashed with his sword and Roan parried his strikes. Making him use his sword to parry with great accuracy and his enemy's sword has flung. Landing on the floor with a metallic clunking sound. Roan then made a taken down and then dropped-kick his head.

Roan then saw the Bone golem that moved and he attacked it. Rumbling the ground as it steps towards Roan. He then attacked with his sword and the enemy grabbed an axe along the way. It slashed Roan and Roan rolled to the side. Leaping towards it then slashed with a vertical slash.

The enemy then blocked with the pole of his axe and then pushed Roan away. He immediately dashed again and then ducked and slid. Slashing the Achilles heel of the enemy. Making it drop to its knees. Roan slashed and slashed the enemy to chip off its health. The enemy retaliated but it was hopeless toward Roan. Roan then slashed the head off and the enemy was down immediately.

Upon defeating the enemy, the Bone spike feral golem attacked and it was fast! It has a bone golem body but has spikes all over its body. Has a tail of bones and was on its fours. Claws were long and were used to attack. Roan then was perturbed. He immediately dashed to the side and the enemy nearly ripped his cloak.

He slashed the enemy and the enemy retaliated. His eyes were crimson red and flashed at him. Roan then focused and then attacked with more extra care. Though he needed to act fast to counter the enemy.

Roan then was clawed aiming at his neck. He evaded in hair's breadth but his cheeks were scraped a bit. Making him bite his lower lips in the process. With it, he slashed with his sword in a flicker and its neck was slashed.

Its body was full of bones but it has fleshy parts without being covered by them. Making him attack his joints and other fleshy parts. He slashed and slashed with each counter and then the enemy's joints were cut. The enemy then wailed slowly as it was laying down on the floor. Roan grabbed his longsword with his two hands and aimed at its head. Stabbing it in the process and twisting it up.

It was then, Roan drew the sword and saw the bone dragon ahead. He sighed a long breath as if he was an arrow on his last flight.

He then grabbed his sword tighter and then ran towards the dragon.

"Very well, good job. You passed!" shouted the summoned.

"Huh? But!" Roan muttered in great confusion. Making him stop halfway on his path to death.

"Shush! shush! you will die if you will attack the remaining summons. Do not be a fool, anyways, you passed. You should be glad," the summons then vanished as well as their summoner. Only the Guardian was left and Roan.

'Damn it!' Roan inwardly cursed. He thought he was strong enough to beat them but he was not. Making him pity himself a bit. He realized that the world was full of strong entities and he was a weak person now.

Roan then dropped his sword in great exhaustion and then went on his knees as he was panting. The Guardian then went walking towards him, "Stand up,"

Roan then responded with a jolt then stood up.

"The burden of humanity is now in your hands. I will make sure you are worthy before you will take them. These skills were made with great care and research,"

"Ever since the first era, these skills were first made and more skills followed after that. Using the Skill Forge of Guardians. This is the artifact that was responsible for birthing new skills,"

"It was in the hands of the Creator apparently and he has to be reawakened in his slumber. The skills will be yours now and treat them with care; make them stronger,"

"As you wish," Roan replied.

"This is my Skill Book," a skill book appeared with a skull on its cover. It was radiating with an aura that made Roan shudder, "Treat it well,"

"I will tell you beforehand. You are now my inheritor and you will discover each skill one by one as you grow stronger. As for the skills that your master wants, I will give you a copy for it, though only grandmaster-level skills below are only what he will receive. Guardian and Legend ranks are only given to you." he said then gave him another book.

"Tarry now, you are in a hurry to meet the others yes?" he said and it made Roan surprised. Thinking how did he know?

Roan would have to learn the skill books one by one and they would be given to him slowly as he grows stronger.
