The different types of mana affinity skills allow one to use the given elemental magic, it also makes my job easier by letting me almost instantly transform the 'raw' mana into elemental mana of my choice.
half a year had passed since arriving at Woodbrim, I have been training my blacksmithing skills as well as my weapon skills. during all this time I was also practicing and experimenting on my external mana manipulation, to the point of creating a subspace with no flow of time that I could use anywhere any time to store anything without it rotting or ageing. When I opened my first subspace the system blessed me with a notification:
「You have created a new space magic skill. Would you like to name it?」
thus I decided to name it 「Inventory」. After creating the most cliché skill I got permission from Marth to start making weapons and armor, and with that I had created for myself a pair of gauntlets and high boots made from Silver, bronze and leather that were looted from the goblin hideout after their extermination.
Marth taught me how to Enchant items and gear with the 「Magic Enchantment」skill and with it I was able to upgrade the gauntlets and boots durability and attack power, I had no need for them to protect me but they were usable to attack. In my free time I studied the bone staff and was able to carve the magic focusing runes on my gear. with the runes help I'll be able to fire off magic without needing to focus on external mana manipulation and if needed I can also unleash a burst of condensed 'raw' mana on impact, similar to the 「Dark Roar」skill the 「Void Byk」aka the bear monster used, but without the need to roar like a wild beast.
I got information from Shana that an Adventurers Guild branch was in a nearby town called Candrin, I decided to go there and acquire new skills on my way there.
And now we are here, Candrin is to the North of Woodbrim so on my way there I decided to go through the patch of woods at the North East of Woodbrim where the goblins appeared.
The road to Candrin from Woodbrim was 3 days on foot, but I took my time. there were many different types of monsters after the forest, like the short gray furred 「Rock Rabbits」that had sturdy skin but they were nowhere near the 「Obsidian Skin」skills durability, so I had no use for their skills. There were also Plant type monsters that could whip their wines and spit acid, I gained 「Whip Mastery(low)」and 「Acid Spit」.
As I got closer to the town the monsters raised in number but were lower in concentration, probably because of the guild sending adventurers to take care of them. When I got to the city the guards let me in after a small inspection, Candrin was way more populated than Woodbrim and it housed more diverse races such as Elves, Dwarves, WolfKin and FoxKin, TigerKin, Dragonewts and Lizardmen.
As I walk through the diverse crowd admiring the beauty of this world's cat and dog girls like any other sane person would, I ask the directions to the Guild and come to the center of the town where a giant building that looked like a museum stood. The sight of the building had me second guessing the directions given to me, but the giant sign clearly saying 「Candrin Town's Guild Of Adventurers」 was slapping me across the face, as if to tell me that they have no respect to the aesthetics of the museum like exterior.
When I enter the guild with a lightly irritated face I get a few quick glances by the people nearby but they continue minding their business, I look at the two lines of people at the reception desk and stand in line at the shortest one.
When I get to the front, I see that the receptionist is a FoxKin and by the name tag on her shirt, Her name seemed to be Kell, but sadly after the small observation I made, I only could focus on one thing... the fluffy ears.
[I wonder what Mr.Flufferbutts is up to now]...
