Max saw Valeria for the first time like this. She radiated such warmth that he basked in it with big pleasure. Derek felt the same. This gloomy woman could be this charming. They both could never think she could be like this. After remembering about the status and power level of this women Derek still stiffened. He would never take such women under his wing. He was sure he would get killed with her within a day. He was sure that there were very big schemes in the background that he even did not want to know about. 

Max smiled and said: "Let's check your talent level for cultivation. Come with me."

After that Max brought Valeria to the room that checked the potential of people. He paid for her to the system. She could not have any coins on her as a former slave.

Soon Valeria got out with the document in her hands. Max took it and gave it a look:

'Name: Valeria. Warrior level: level one warrior. Mage level: none. Warrior aptitude: complete.

Magic aptitude: none. Fire aptitude: none. Water aptitude: none. Wind aptitude: none.

Earth aptitude: none. Lightning aptitude: none.'

Warrior aptitude will be shown with a rank and in percent from 0 to 100% near it. For example: There are few ranks available - Low, Medium, High, Very High, Complete.

Low - 10% to 20% aptitude.

Medium - 20% to 40% aptitude.

High - 40% to 60% aptitude.

Very High - 60 to 80% aptitude.

Complete - 80% to 100% aptitude.

Max did not saw the percent but from the system he knew that she was a monster in cultivating life energy. She will be a powerhouse in the near future for sure. 

He looked at her for some time and said: "You have a good talent. Do you want to be a permanent assistant in the gaming club? The training and food are for free for permanent assistants. You will see the benefits for sure when you enter the simulation. The con in this is the fact that you need to work here at least for a year."

When Max was looking at her for some time Valeria blushed. Her emotions were still raging inside, and she had a very good impression of this man. She did want to stay by his side and also view the world. See new places. To live.

She did not think too much and just nodded with a hum. Derek asked: "Boss Max why don't you promote me to permanent assistant? This is not fair."

Max smiled and said: "If you would be with her power level and talent for knight training at her age I would consider it. Now where is this little retard Rey? I want to come and kick his ass. Derek sighed and then nodded. After that he just left. Max then went to look for Rey. When Rey saw Max and Valeria that was following him like a little chick after a mother he was happy at first and ran towards Max with happiness. When he saw Max's expression his face changed and he tried to turn around and flee. Max screamed: "What the fuck are you doing little retard! Even Derek did not get almost killed and he is weaker then you. Where are you running? You were located a whole week in the capsule. Go and pay me the money back!"

The old lady also saw Max kicking Rey's ass but she just smiled. She knew that the kid lived only because of Max. Rey saved her with most of the kids. Rey pleaded for mercy but then he flew a hundred meters after each hit. When Max saw that Rey was reaching a limit he sighed and said: "Little retard we are leaving tomorrow for the capital. You are admitted to that school and I will be a teacher in this school as well. Also, meet your new senior Valeria. She is a permanent assistant in the store." 

Valeria was watching the chase before and was amused. She felt like she came back to her childhood. Rey was a strong kid. She was laughing at this scene of him being punished. She knew Max saved the kid and was now Max was getting some sense into him. It was fun. When Max introduced her to Rey she smiled at the kid and waved her hand. Rey got dazed for a moment and then he started grinning with a sly smile. 

When Max saw Rey was thinking something strange to himself he remembered that his kid was not really 10 years old but 26 with all the system time spent. He got the point that the kid was falling for Valeria already and added: "She is a level one knight."

After this was said Valeria giggled and Rey's smile stiffened considerably. He got the point. He will not try to mess with her. He did not want to get crashed.

"Alright little retard come tomorrow at the gaming club at morning. Don't be late or I will kick your little ass." Max said and just went back to the gaming club. 

Valeria waved her hand with a smile and followed Max.

When they got back to the gaming club Max said to Valeria: "You will have a room in the second floor near my room. You have unlimited access to the capsule in your room and to the food and drinks at the store. You can use the food and drinks only on yourself in a manner you can consume. In term of the capsule let me explain..."

Max told Valeria the information the system provided to him about the permanent assistant limitations and responsibilities.

Max then explained about the virtual world and the features she can get from it with the time delay and all the rest of the things she was dazed after a long time. After that He explained to her that when she will enter the gaming simulation she will get the best breathing technique suitable for her. It gave her a shock and she wanted to try it out as fast as she could.

Soon they both entered in the simulation...
