Max was ready to start to use the gaming club again after he got a his residence in the alchemy pavilion. He set the teleportation formation, while Vanessa watched from the side.
Vanessa had a very strange expression and thought: 'This guy can make a teleportation formation. It should be a grandmaster level formation that is done by a group of skilled formation masters. What the hell is going on?'
She was very confused. She already guessed that Max would get the master alchemist title. Now when Max showed his skill in formations, she did not really know what to say. When Max finished the formation, he said: "Alright. We are heading out. All of this should stay a secret. Do not tell anyone. Else you will become my mortal enemy. I am not joking."
After saying that Max let Vanessa go first and then he went into the teleportation formation himself. He did put enough magic crystals to support it for twelve hours. If it would close Max will have to make all the way he did before again from the Yin Yang empire to this place by flying.
When Vanessa got out of the teleportation formation she got into Max's room. She was confused. Why would you teleport to some room?
Max also got out and after giving her a glance he said: "People from where I come from don't really know that I left so I keep it a secret. Now we go down and you start your training. First you study in a group until the level of an alchemist. After that if you she good results I will teach you myself."
Max wanted to put her into the courses of the alchemists in his empire. That way it should be easier for her to study the basics. The life in the Yin Yang empire did not change much. The empire was stable and nothing out of the ordinary did happen lately. People were going in and out of the gaming club. There were a lot of capsules available for people to train and spar with each other. When Max and Vanessa got down the stairs and people saw Max they greeted with respect: "Hail the emperor!"
When she heard it, Vanessa was even more confused. 'This guy is an emperor? What the hell is going on?' She thought.
Max waved the people off and told them to continue with what they were doing. He got a representative that was responsible for vacant capsules and instructed him to put Vanessa into a mage capsule every day for 8 hours when she comes until other order was given. After that he just shood her off. Max told the confused Vanessa: "Just study. Remember that an hour outside is fifteen days in the simulation. See you in four months. Do not slack off. You can also learn fighting techniques for a mage if you can win over your copy. The system will explain everything to you."
Max did not want to explain everything to her from the beginning. He had the guide for noobs he bought from the system for this. He also took his time training in the simulation. Soon the 8 hours of the simulation passed, and Vanessa got out absolutely dumbfounded. When she saw Max, he said: "Good morning. Let's go to eat something. I saw your studies. Your alchemy skill should be enough to get to the alchemist level with time. You only started your studies. As for your fighting skills. Well, they suck for now. You need to work on that part if you want to be able to fight someone decent."
Vanessa just sighed. She had a lot of questions, but she asked only one: "Will I be able to study here every day?"
Max smiled and answered: "Well I see that you will get to a level of a real alchemist so yes you can. It does cost me a lot of crystals for you to study here but it is worth it in the long run."
Vanessa was happy for that. She did get into the alchemy class that Max created a long time ago where a real alchemist teaches chemistry and thermodynamics to the class and then the class studies alchemy.
Vanessa was not the best in her class, but she was up in the list of her classmates. She got humbled really quickly when a commoner with no talent for magic was so much better than her that she wanted to cry for a moment. After the humbling experience she got into the studies. She did not start with the alchemy, but Max already could tell that she would get to the needed level with time. Vanessa even blew her head off when she did a wrong chemical interaction between two volatile materials by accident. At this moment she was very happy to be in the simulation and not outside.
After having a burger with some juice Max got back to the Starlight academy with Vanessa. Because he was a new face in the alchemy world, he needed to get himself a reputation. Alchemists could sell their alchemical products for contribution points, coins or magic crystals. Max was ready to earn some money and establish himself in this new place. Max did put potions and pills for mages and knights at a high or peak level. It did cause a commotion, and a lot of people were buying his products quickly the moment he did post something to the general population. Big families with patriarchs at the high mage level started to come over for meetings with Max to ask for exclusive products for high prices. Max did try to be flexible and not create any bad blood with those people. Soon a month passed, and Max achieved some of the things he wanted. Max was an alchemist, but people already treated him as a master alchemist. His products were a very popular choice in the academy and outside of it. After a month a very unexpected event for a lot of people was going to occur. Vanessa will be taking the alchemist exam.
