Master Alchemist test part 2

Max, The manager and Vanessa got into a classical alchemy hall with multiple materials. Max knew that something here was fishy, but he did not have the power to argue with this guy. It would only take more time this way. Because of that he did not argue with the person at all. He knew he did have the ability to become maybe even a grandmaster. He went to the center of the room and asked the manager: "What do I need to do now?"

The manager said with a smile: "You can make any alchemical product that will be more effective than four low level products of the same kind. If your product will not be on a level of a low level product than you will have to hand over your alchemy badge back and try you luck getting it another time.

Max looked at the person for some time and just sighed. He asked: "How would we know the level of the alchemical product?"

The manager pointed to a strange device with a smile and said: "It is a new prototype that gives the exact number after you put the alchemical product in it. It will show in how many times the alchemical product is more potent than a low level product of the same type."

The manager did not tell Max about the fact that this product needed to be in the real low level like Max got used to in the simulation. No the potion with some poop floating in it like Max saw in the Ruth empire. The manager was sure that he will bend Max over and cause him massive embarrassment by making him fail this test.

Max nodded and said: "I will make a boosting cultivation potion for fire element mages. Do I need to give it to the alchemy pavilion?"

The manager shook his head and said: "There is no need. It is just a little test before the real master alchemy test."

Max nodded and said to Vanessa: "Pay attention."

After that Max started to manipulate the different materials in a rapid succession. Vanessa gazed at him in a daze, while the manager just waited for him to fail, while thinking about his personal questions.

After around half an hour Max said: "Its done."

The manager finally got out of his thinking about his own plans. It was time to humiliate this so called alchemist. The manager did not think that this guy would fall for it that easily.

After taking the flask and putting it into the strange device an unexpected number appeared. It was 64.5.

The manager did not get even what he was seeing. He was sure that this was some kind of mistake. Vanessa looked at Max and said: "I did look closely, but I could not understand much. Everything was too complex to understand."

The manager looked at Max with bewilderment and said: "There must be some kind of mistake. Let me try and make another check of this potion."

After that the manager put another potion of his production and it showed the number of 1.8. It did looked like it was working. After a short time he put Max's flask another time and it showed the same result.

The manager looked at Max and shouted: "You are clearly cheating! hand over your badge! Guards! come and throw this thief out of here! He dares to cheat in an alchemy master examination!"

After a couple of moments the guards did come over with hostile faces. They were four of them in total. Two high level mages and two grand knights. They said with a frown: "Come with us! Do not resist! How dare you to cheat mister Frankel!?"

Max reacted in a very strange manner. He started to laugh. The different people look at him with confusion, anger, contempt. Has this guy totally lost it? Vanessa looked at Max with a lot of worry in her eyes.

Max stopped laughing and said: "Well i guess I just blow this whole mountain up and than we talk.."

After that all of those people felt a huge magic disturbance in the surroundings. The mages and the grand knights paled considerably. They did not know who this guy was and how much he was good at alchemy but they knew some kind of nova skill will fall on their heads and turn everyone in the pavilion into corpses.

Max himself was just holding a brave front. He did not intend to blast a super nova here. He had one ready now to fall and burn everyone to ashes, but he intended to get the higher ups of the academy to make sense in what the hell is going on here. If he did not get normal response he could really go berserk. This retard sucked a lot of his patience.

After a short time a strong voice boomed through the alchemy peak: "Wait! Do not throw this super nova! Let's talk!"

Max just said one word: "Come..."

Soon an old man in a unique alchemical robes came over with a worried expression and said: "Please cancel the skill and let's talk. There is no need to take revenge on all the people here because of a mistake of one of our personal."

Max looked at the man and said: "I do not intend to throw a supernova at this place. At least not right now." After his words the magic energy calmed down at the surroundings. The skill got cancelled.

After that Max pointed on the manager and said: "This piece of shit did some shady stuff. I wanted to take an alchemy master test exam and he said I need to pass a preliminary test before and make a potion that is at least four times stronger than a low level alchemical product of the same type and I did it. It was 64.5 times stronger than normal potion. After he saw the result he told me I was cheating and called the guards to throw me out and abolish my title. After that I decided that I should call the higher ups. I just wish for a fair test. If I would fail I would accept it."
