Goals for the first semester

After finishing listening to the ceremony Max, Valeria and all of his class that now was called A7 class gathered at their designated class. This class was located in a building that housed all of the senior teachers. Each of them had their own class and office. It was a little privilege given by the academy. Of course, there were other ones. For example, if teachers will try to get registered into a training ground senior teachers will always get priority. Same thing for resources. Max stood at the podium of the class. There were around 100 seats in the class. Valeria stood behind Max and in front of him were a group of kids. In the middle of the group were Drake and Rey. There were only 16 kids sitting in the class. 8 boys and 8 girls.

Max looked at the kids and saw that they seemed to become a little closed to each other. They seemed to be focused on him totally.

"Alright little brats. Today we will talk about the goals of your new academic semester. We have a lot of work to do. You have two main goals, and it will also be your real entrance exam to my class. All of you will have to get to a level one apprentice knight and defeat your copy. Defeat a level one bot. The first thing for all of you is to beat the bot. I don't care if you have magic talent or not. Before you could win the bot, you will get nothing. It will not be easy, but I know each of you can do it with time. It depends on talent and hard work. Talent will only shorten the time to complete the challenge. For example, Rey finished the test after a few years inside the simulation and Drake did it in two and a half. As for Rey and Drake. Rey, you need to get to a level four apprentice knight and defeat the level two bot at least once. As for Drake. You need to get to at least level 2 apprentice knight and win the level two bot consistently." Max said.

Rey and Drake nodded solemnly. The task was hard. As for the other kids. After hearing that Rey took many years to complete the task all the kids got tense. If Rey took years, was it almost impossible to complete?

Max continued: "Don't worry. One hour of the simulation in the outside world is fifteen days in the simulation. You will get one hour per day as an investment. All the rest is up to you to buy. The prices are 1 silver coin for an unranked individuum, 10 silver if you are apprentice knight and 1 gold coin if you are a knight. As for mages. It doesn't matter for now. You will have the ability to earn money after you win the bot. If someone wants to ask how then do it after you beat the bot. Rey and Drake already has this option, but they are not allowed to tell you before you finish your first task. You will have a privilege as my students. You could buy the night hours in the simulation. No one else has this privilege. If you want to help each other or pay for each other I don't mind."

The students nodded. The last part was designated for Rey and Drake. They as the two leaders they needed to lead the group for now. Rey and Drake looked at each other and they nodded. they knew what to do but it will be discussed later.

"Like you heard there are courses that you can choose. They cost a lot of money and not really worth going to. Most of the people that will be there are nobles. You will get only trouble there. I will open a free blacksmithing class for all of you that is led by a master blacksmith. Also, after sometimes I will start to teach you alchemy. You don't need anything else. About the blacksmithing and alchemy courses. I will get the idea who has talent for those courses and if you don't you will most likely don't continue study them. It will happen if you try really hard and really want to continue. Hard work worth more than talent. Remember that."

At first the students wore frowns of their faces when they heard they could not go to different courses because of nobles, but when they heard the fact that they will have alchemy and blacksmithing class for themselves they were elated. Those two professions were very lucrative for people. If you would get to a level of an apprentice than you will live well. Especially alchemy.

"Alright. That is basically all. Do you have any questions about what I said?" Max asked.

The kids looked at each other and then and him and did not speak. Max nodded to the group. He would not mind for questions, but he did not like asking something for the purpose of asking.

"If everything is clear we will go to test you. See what your talents are. It will shape your future path. Drake and Rey, you will come with us because we will enter the simulation for an hour." Max said.

All the kids were excited and a little worried. They did not know what their talent will be. It will define their future. They hoped for the best.

After that all class members went towards the gaming club. The day was peaceful. At their way they saw a few novice teachers and teachers occupying some training grounds and kids training in different styles of fighting. Max looked at their training and was disappointed. Generally, he was not surprised. If the teacher was a level two or three apprentice knight, what could he really teach? The answer was obvious. Not much. Those teachers should go and study in his class as well. When they pass the bot test than they will be really qualified to teach something.

Max generally did not really care for now. He had only 10 capsules. He maybe will not have enough space for everyone. He had a few thousand gold coins already, but he wanted to buy the alchemy course for a thousand and save a little bit for the brats if they will need it. If not than he will buy three or four warrior capsules to give more people, the option to train.

Soon the class members arrived to the gaming club. It was time to see what those brats were made of.
