Exam for the capital national academy part 2

James was taken aback by the declaration and laughed it off: "Mister it was a funny one. If he was a second level of knight apprentice at the age of ten, he would get registered into the academy without even having to be tested. I will happen even if he was a level one knight apprentice."

Now Max was taken aback. 'What the fuck is this retard is talking about?' He thought. After a short deliberation he laughed in reply because he did not know how to react to that stupid reply and there was still no reason to really lose his shit, so he just said. "Maybe it's a funny one but it's the truth."

James decided to ignore this guy that was with this little kid and after writing down the name and age he just sent him to test for the ability to manipulate life force. They did not even have something to test the level of the apprentice knight because they did not think those kids had a chance to be so strong at such a young age. Every breathing technique was a secret or of some noble family or of the country. It was hard for commoners to get access to something like that from a young age. Max did not look like a noble at all. When Rey got to the crystal and touched it there was a brilliant light generated from it. It startled both the teachers from the academy. They saw such thing very rarely. It was a sign of a genius. Both the instructors were elated. James said: "Your kid has a great talents sir. He could rise and be a prominent figure in the country if he could finish his studies in the academy." Those words brought a lot of jealousy and envy from the crowd. Everyone wanted that it will be the case with their kid. 

After hearing the reply Max was a little happy from the inside but still, he did not like the brat to be praised so he said: "I did not lie about the fact that he is a level two apprentice knight. Don't go easy on him. If you go easy on him then I won't. He is not my son. He is my student. And not a really bright one. So don't praise this brat too much. Nothing good will come from that."

James now wore a serious look on his face. With such talent it was possible for the kid to progress swiftly. After a short deliberation he asked: "Is he really on a level of a second knight apprentice?" 

Max nodded and said: "He is. He knows how to fight too. So don't go easy on him or I will have to test him myself."

After that James frowned again and even Jessy came to take a look at what was going on. He also got tired of the fact that some kids with no talent will come to challenge him and just getting beaten up again and again. "What's going on?" He asked.

James looked very happy now. He said: "Jessy I think we hit the jackpot. This kid has insane talent. We have a chance to get a big reward this time. Check how is his fighting skills. He is a level two apprentice knight. Be careful." 

Jessy was taken aback for some time but then he started to laugh as well. He was happy by the fact that finally they were the ones that found the golden kid that give them big rewards and even maybe the resources to advance to the next level. They both were the lowest level of teachers in the Academy. From the third apprentice level the teachers had the ability to get a raise and get more different opportunities for growth. Thats why they both were very excited.

Rey and Jessy got to the ring. Rey had his sword. Jessy also got serious and said: "Kid you need to be able to hold your ground against me for 2 minutes. That is the test. If you win you get into the academy." 

Rey got very happy by that news. He was sure it was easy to get this result. Before he could celebrate Max said: "Hey brat did you forget that you have my test as well? You need to win this fight. If you won't I will need to check you myself. Do you understand? I hope you do.."

Rey lowered his head. He got happy too soon. Jessy was taken aback and said: "Mister is that not too much? I am a teacher of the academy, and he is just a kid. They is no way he could win..." Before he could continue Max interrupted him and said: "I don't care. If he don't win I will make him improve really fast until he will win over you. Now Rey don't waste my time and fight. Don't hold back or I kick the living shit out of you!"

The teachers were surprised but they got the point that this guy was unreasonable and they also wanted to test this kid's limits. James announced: "Alright. Get ready! Fight!"

And then the fight began. Rey did not give the teacher any time. He needed a decisive win. He did not want to get a checked by Max. In the best case scenario, he will fly across the ring. In the worst he will break a few bones. He wanted nothing of that. Very soon the crowd saw a harsh battle between a kid and a teacher. Everyone saw that the teacher has the upper hand but it was not that decisive as everyone thought it to be. The kid reacted swiftly to the teachers attacks and the only reason he was losing was because of the size difference. He was too short and small to be able to react well to Jessy's attacks. Rey got a few shallow cuts already. He was getting desperate. He could not win. After a short time he heard a scream: "What the fuck are you doing? Of course, he has an advantage in terms of hight and weight! Use different movements and technique you little stupid retard! Instincts will help you not to lose. You can't win like that. If you want to win do something unexpected or use what I taught you! You stupid ape! Why the fuck did I even teach you something. You fight like a fucking animal. Zero brain. Holy shit!!!!!" 

Max was creaming like a madman already with bloodshot eyes. He was ready to get the living shit kicked out of the kid. The kid was making fun of himself and Max as well. After two minutes of fighting the result was concluded. James announces with a smile: "You Passed! Good job!"

From the ring Jessy nodded. The kid was impressive. On the other hand, they heard a scream: "You fail you stupid retard! Now it is time for my test! Let me help you increase you level of skill!"
