Adela shook her head and asked, "Really?"
Her tone abruptly became softer. Camilla had never acted in such a way before. In just a few minutes, Adela had become a stranger to her. Camilla remained silent while lowering her gaze.
"Camilla, is there a problem there? Did the emperor or empress say anything to you?" Adela questioned.
Camilla inhaled deeply and turned to face Adela, saying, "Why do they say that to me? If they said, wouldn't I be able to speak, Adela? What are your feelings towards me?"
Adela was astounded when she overheard Camilla say something similar. She found it impossible to trust what she had heard. Adela lifted her brows and attempted to smile, saying, "Of course, you can."
Camilla asked before Adela could respond, "Then?" Adela gently pursed her lips and gave a slow head nod. Camilla turned her head to look behind Adela and noticed Richard was approaching them. As she noticed it, she said, "You gave him a crystal as well, right?"
