Engimatic night
The air was thick with tension as Richard and Adela were left alone in the tent. The rest of the party had gone out, leaving them behind to tend to the camp. As they sat there in silence, the weight of their situation hung heavily in the air.
Inside the dimly lit tent, Richard held Adela close, his heart filled with a mixture of worry and determination. He couldn't bear to see her in pain or discomfort, and he was determined to do whatever he could to help her. He knew that she was vulnerable, and he wanted to protect her.
Richard slowly extended his arm towards Adela, his fingers twitching with the desire to comfort her. He hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should make physical contact, but ultimately decided to take the risk. Because it was not his first time. As his hand touched her shoulder, Adela flinched.
"Adela," Richard whispered, his voice soft and comforting. "I won't let you suffer. I'll do everything in my power to keep you warm."
