"Take heed, flame lion; roar with wrath; burn her alive to death." As soon as Veronica read a magic spell, the circle of the flaming lion's mark appeared. She stretched her hand and triggered it. Veronica was too quick and activated it.
As the fire strike was approaching at breakneck speed, Anesthesia grinned at her. She was frail, but not to the point that she could not interact with Veronica. She gestured with her hand up, saying, "Disperse."
The spell of the flaming lion broke quickly. Upon viewing it, Veronica strained her eyes. Although Veronica knew that Anesthesia could not move or cast spells correctly, but Anesthesia's potency remained mostly untouched. She had no qualms about exploiting her power. What would she do if she used all of her available power instead of only a portion of it?
