[Bonus chapter] I wouldn't give a damn
Adela attempted to release Francis's hold by saying, "Ahh, Francis."
"Tell me why you ran in that manner. What should we do if something were to happen to you? Do you actually understand what was happening to me? Argh?"
"Francis, you're hurting me," Adela remarked.
"Yes, it wounds me as well that you ran to help Camilla," Francis said.
Adela cast a sharp glance Francis' way as her eyes sharpened.
"She is my friend, and if something were to happen to me, I wouldn't give a damn."
Francis inhaled deeply while raising his brows. He could not put up with Adela's attitude any longer. He now felt apprehensive about the expedition. At first, he had considered allowing Adela to join the expedition, but he has now changed his mind. He decided to omit the name of the Adela from the expedition since he was aware of how obstinate the Adela was, and he would stop it at all costs!
"What about me, then? Do you consider me?" Francis spoke softly.
