The Wonders Of What You Are

After a long and treacherous journey, I finally reached the exit. It was a narrow, dimly lit passage, forcing me to crouch down. Just as I was about to open the door, a voice echoed through the cramped space. 

"Is he done yet? I could be hanging out with my daughter right now!"

"Hush, you know how the Empress revels in her enigmatic ways."

"Indeed, what could she possibly require from the former Die Meisterin? Surely, her successor could suffice?"

"You know, her abilities are so favoured! There's a reason why the Empress adores her greatly!"

The Empress is present? I must depart swiftly. But why does she require Bertha? Is her skill truly so exceptional that the Empress must attend in person?

I eavesdrop more on the two knights speaking.

"Did you see the Von Halhenstine daughter at the Empress's palace the other day?"

"Oh yeah, her. The Duchess's daughter is friends with her no?"

"Nono! It was Anna! Anna Neumann!"

Anna? Could she be the person mentioned in Weltenschmerz letter? 

I continue to listen intently, hoping to glean more information. 

"We should start heading back, and the Empress will be done soon."

The footsteps and voices slowly began to disappear. It's most likely safe to exit now. I opened the hatch, and bright sunlight hit my face, making me squint my eyes.

As I emerged from the shadows, I spotted a figure in the distance. The unmistakable silhouette, the jet-black hair, and the lithe build. It was him. Kaiserin.
