Chapter 6

Mikael slowly walked towards his wives, and playfully pinched Raeya's waist, which made her yelp and subconsciously punch him in response.

He easily dodged it, and then flicked her nose, causing her to glare at him as if she wanted to cut him into a thousand pieces.

"Have you had your dinner?" He gently asked her, but instead of answering him, she turned around to leave for her room.

"Mikael!" She angrily warned him when he grabbed her and lifted her on his shoulder.

"Behave!" He slapped her ass, just strong enough to make it sting a little, and she did behave for a moment as her mind went blank, but then she was like an angry cat as she lifted his shirt from the back and started scratching him, making him hiss in pain.

Despite her struggles and attacks, he did not let go of her.

"Come," he said to Klara before he turned around to walk back to the study, and the younger Twin was quite amused at seeing the blush on her sister's face.

He put Raeya in the chair like a man would treat a baby, which made her throw daggers at him again with her eyes, and her sister suppressed her giggles and sat by her side.

Soon, both their eyes were drawn to over a dozen files on the table. Two laptops were on right now, and there was a beeping sound on both of them.

He seemed busy checking a few things on the screens, and out of curiosity, Klara picked up the file with the Government Logo on it.

Inside, she found the registration papers of a new company, under Mikael's name, and other documents related to it.

She noticed the date when he had applied for it, and it was several weeks ago. Now, his application and papers were finally approved and attested.

"You are going to create your own company?" She asked, but was soon surprised to discover that it was not one company, but a parent company, and under it were two separate entities.

One was a Real Estate Company and the other was a Fashion and Lifestyle Company.

The Parent company was called the Abraham Corporation, and the Real Estate company was named Ravenstreet, but what made her freeze was the name of the Fashion and Lifestyle Company.

"Raeya & Klara"

She stared at the name in a trance. It was not until her sister took the file from her hand that she raised her head and looked at the young man, who was busy typing on his laptop.

"Yes, I am going to build a Corporation. Oh, and I have a third company under my Corporate Group as well."

"What company?"

"The Redline Securities," He answered, and Klara's mouth dropped open in shock.

"What?!"

"What?" He looked at her and raised her brow, and as if he remembered something, he smiled.

"It belonged to my late uncle, and I have been its CEO for the last three years. My Aunt transferred it to me the day I graduated. I am the only owner, and I have decided to move it under the banner of Abraham Corporate Group."

"Anaiah's mother?"

"Yes." He nodded to her.

"Why would she give you the company?" Raeya frowned and looked at him suspiciously.

"Why not? She considers me her son. And I am her son" He simply shrugged at those words and then stood up to take the file from her hand.

He then went through it and added the information he needed on the laptop, and then went on to scan a few files and take some prints.

Klara was really curious about other files on the table, and after hesitating for a moment, she picked one up.

She inadvertently glanced at Mikael and found him smiling at her.

"It's quite rude to spy on the affairs of other companies." He teased her, and her face burned up in a blush.

"I am not spying."

"Oh? It's okay then."

She was about to put the file back but then deadpanned at him after hearing those words.

Since he did not seem to care about it, she satiated her curiosity as she went through everything on the table.

"Do you even have the capital to fund these new companies?" Raeya scrutinised him.

Unlike most people in the circle, who believed that he was only a prodigal child, she knew that he was very intelligent but was just non-serious.

How could a boy who had an IQ of 157 be stupid? And she remembered that he was not even serious when he took that test with her.

She blushed a little as she recalled that his IQ was five points higher than hers, feeling quite ashamed of herself.

"I do, yes. And if you need funds for your company, you do not need to take any loans. I will lend it to you without any interest." He seriously told them.

"Really? How much can you spare?" She doubtfully looked at him.

"How much do you need?" He asked back, catching her off-guard.

"A hundred million." She grinned at him, and grabbed Klara's hand under the table, telling her to play along.

"A hundred million?" He raised his brow at her.

"What? You don't have a hundred million to spare?"

"That's not it. I am just questioning your business model. Why would a new company, especially a Beauty and Cosmetics company need so much capital as a start-up? You already have a factory, staff and offices, even your R&D Department is good to go. Only a few reliable experts are missing. Don't tell me that you plan on absorbing some more existing start-ups. You have already absorbed the two that can help you grow and can prove to be your signature products in the future. Other companies and start-ups are not worth investing or buying..."

For the next half an hour, the two listened to his lecture on Business, and though Raeya was annoyed at the beginning, soon she was very shocked at how well-informed and knowledgeable he was.

He even made them look at some things that they had neglected, and after Klara realised that he was not just showing off, she engaged with him in a serious conversation.

In the end, he suddenly picked up his phone, and a minute later, both their phones beeped as they received a new message.

"You..."

He actually transferred 50 Million each in their accounts, and they both dumbly stared at him.

"Don't forget that it is a loan. You must return it to me before I die." He grinned at them, and Raeya suddenly felt very unwell after hearing him talk about his death.

The image from last night crossed her mind, where she had found him writhing in pain in his bed. The thoughts that followed, made her body tremble, and she felt suffocated.

"You..."

"Yes?"

"Are you... sick?" She asked, raising her head to meet her eyes.

"You told me you needed a 100 Million so I gave it to you. How does that make me sick?" He was seriously confused, but how could he know what was actually going through her mind?

"Not that." She shook her head and then hesitated a little. "What happened to you last night? You looked to be in pain."

"Oh... oh!" His eyes widened as he connected the dots and then started laughing at her cuteness. "I am fine." He laughed some more. "It was just a sudden headache, caused by lack of sleep. I went to see the doctor today, and thankfully, there's nothing wrong with my body."

"Really?"

"Yes. Why? Are you worried about me, Wifey?" He teasingly asked, and she glared at him.

"Why would I be worried about you? I hate you! And don't call me that! You forced and tricked me into marrying you. You... you are despicable!!"

"Hey, hey, calm down." He raised his hand in defeat, and a proud smile crept on her face.

"Mikael." Klara suddenly called out to him, and when he gently smiled at her, she blushed a little. "She was messing with you. We don't need 100 Million Draks. We already have enough capital."

"Well, it is yours now. Keep it."

"Didn't you say that it was a loan?" Raeya narrowed her eyes.

"It's a loan for you and a gift for Klara. She's way more sensible and understanding..."

He had not even finished his words when he saw her pick up the heavy paperweight, and he wisely shut up.

Suddenly, the clock in the study rang, announcing midnight, and along with it, he heard a ding in his mind.

[Ding! The Weekly Draw is ready. You have three categories available today.]

{1. News and Information}

{2. Lifestyle Items}

{3. Cash}

Mikael's face darkened when he looked at the second and third categories.

He had tested both of them for several weeks, and all he got from the Lifestyle Items Category were condoms. Large boxes of condoms. He had a store full of them now...

As for Cash, he won a million Draks the first time, the second time, he only won 50,000 Draks, and the third time, 100,000. Even after a dozen tries, the most he ever won was 2 million.

However, the News and Information category had proven very useful to him 90% of the time.

Last Sunday, he received all the evidence against the Albonn Family, which helped him finish his first task and marry the girls sitting across the table right now. And over the last two years, he had managed to find the right people for his Security Company all thanks to these news draws from the System.

Without giving it much thought, he chose the first category and soon heard the sounds of rolling dice.

A few sounds later, the result came.

{Congratulations Host! You have won the future information on all the properties that are going to be Auctioned by the City Lord's Office and the City Development Authority on August 21st.}

His eyes immediately brightened at what he had won and then absorbed all the information.

A minute later, he picked up a file from the table, which was the list of all the properties that were going to be auctioned in the Annual City Auction.

He had already planned on attending it and had even marked a few properties that he wanted to go for.

However, after winning the knowledge he had just received, a bright smile stayed on his face.

"Are you interested in attending the Annual City Auction?" He curiously asked them.

"We are not in Real Estate Business." Klara shook her head.

"You should attend it, and I can even mark the properties for you that will likely prove very profitable in the short term. You will be able to double or triple your investment within a few months by selling or privately auctioning them off later."

"What are you? God of Real Estate?" Raeya rolled her eyes at his words, and he simply shrugged at her and met Klara's eyes again.

"Think about it. I am going to attend it and buy several properties. Profit is always good." He smiled at her.

"How much money are we talking about here?"

"It's your call," he smiled, "Come here."

Mikael called her over, and she stood up and walked to stand by his side.

He then patiently started telling her about his judgement on all the profitable properties that were listed.

She was very sceptical about all his guesses and clearly hesitant to spend a lot of money.

However, she suddenly remembered that he had gifted her 50 Million Draks just now, and after thinking about it again, she decided to trust him and mark the properties that she decided to fight for.

Seeing her agree so easily, Raeya stubbornly chose to not trust him, and even though she did not wish for her sister to lose money, she really wanted to see Mikael suffer for all the pain he caused her. After all, the money Klara chose to spend was a gift from him.

Who cared if he lost it?
