Chapter 452

"Master Demiliore."

"Master Wei." Keith smiled at Wei Sheng, who was leading his family.

"I am afraid, I am not Master Wei today." The old man said as he glanced at the two men who were standing by his sides. "These are my cousins, Wei Zixin and Wei Zimo, and they have come from Jian Zong."

"Master Demiliore." The two bowed to him. "Master Wei sent us to congratulate you on your marriage to Wei Feifei. It was on short notice or he would have personally come to give this gift to you." Wei Zixin sincerely smiled and then presented him with a sword and a scabbard that was made out of Gold. "We understand that this sword might mean nothing to you, but it is just a token of our good wishes to you and your family."

"One of the Six Golden Swords of your Sect that Wei Tianxi left behind?" He smiled as he accepted the sword and pulled it out of its scabbard.

"Yes, Master Demiliore." Wei Zimo brightly smiled as he saw that Keith was happy to receive their gift.

"The Sword of Blessings." He read what was written on the blade, and carefully put it back in its scabbard. "It means a lot. Thank you."

They both respectfully bowed to him again and then Rebecca and Amelia greeted the ladies that had come with the Wei Family.

"Where's Feifei?" A lady, who looked to be in her mid-thirties, curiously asked, and Keith could tell from her features that she was directly related to a certain boy he knew.

"Something came up and she's gone out with Rouxi. They will be here before dinner." He informed her, and the woman smiled and nodded to him.

"I hope Jin was not overly excited when he met you, Master Demiliore. My child admires you a lot."

"Don't worry about it. He's quite a capable young man and a very fun personality. But your niece is certainly quite a handful." He smiled, and the woman giggled at his words.

"Well, you decided to marry her, so, you will have to bear with it now. But I can promise you, she's a very pure soul."

"I know. She's beautiful." He smiled some more and then met with Feifei's Uncles, Wei Zong and Wei Yang.

When everyone else had greeted him, a young man, who bore an uncanny resemblance to Wei Sheng and Wei Zong, stepped forward and deeply bowed to him.

"Thank you for saving my life, Master Demiliore."

It was Wei Ming, Feifei's cousin, and the boy whom he had cured a few weeks ago.

"You have recovered well. Start exercising now and focus on Cultivation. It will fix the issues you have been having with sleep lately," He told him, and Wei Ming could not help but feel even more grateful to him.

"I will do as you say, Master Demiliore." He promised, but the smile on his lips was not exactly a smile.

"It will help you get over the girl as well."

This time, everyone around them was surprised that Keith could tell what was wrong with Wei Ming, and the boy's mother, who had been quite restless for the last few days, finally understood what had been bothering her child ever since he woke up from the Coma.

"I..."

"Never chase after someone who does not value you or who belongs to someone else." He smiled. "Feifei told me about you and your former girlfriend. If you would listen to the man who saved you, you better not waste this new life. It would be very ungrateful of you to do such a thing, and your family has already suffered a lot."

Wei Ming's body trembled when his mother protectively grabbed his arm, and then he immediately took a deep breath and bowed to him again.

"I promise you that I won't waste this life and I will honour it."

"Good."

Keith knew that this boy was quite talented and would make a great Auror in the future. After all, Wei Ming was meant to become a loyal subordinate of Qin Feng, who was supposed to save him and earn his loyalty. However, things had changed now, and there were some other plans awaiting him in the near future.

"Come, we will show you around the Manor." Rebecca invited everyone, and then the group followed her and Amelia as his wives gave them a tour of the place.

The maids and butlers of the Estate, whom Keith had called in the morning for this event, guided the servants of the Wei Family to the room where they could place the gifts and then led them to the hall that was reserved for them.

Keith stayed back at the front door as he had sensed a car entering the Estate, and he smiled when it arrived in front of the Manor and a pair walked out of it.

"Your mother has an interesting personality, Jin." He grinned at the young boy, who embarrassedly scratched the back of his head.

"She can be a little protective of Feifei." The boy said. "Sometimes, I feel like I am adopted, given how much she dotes on her but not on me."

Baobao laughed at his words and then politely bowed to Keith.

"Good evening, Master Demiliore."

"Good evening." He smiled at her as a sudden ping sounded out in his mind. "Feifei is not here right now. Come, I will show you around the place."

"Thank you." Jin smiled. "Where is she by the way? They were not at home either."

"There was a little emergency with a riot that broke out in the Old District. Rouxi and Feifei have gone there with Qingyue."

"Riot?" Baobao frowned. "Will they be alright?"

"They will be fine." He assured them.

As he showed them around the place, Keith looked at the Quest he had just received.

[Side Quest (Optional): Send Jin and Baobao, whom Destiny has planned to become the loyal servants of Feifei, to the world where Nyx would be sending your Wives. Train them, help them grow stronger, and before you leave Gaia, send them to the world where they can fulfil their Destiny.]

[Quest Tools: An unidentified Teleportation Stone, Two Storage Rings (Earth Grade)]

[Quest Reward: 40,000 System Points, 800 Fate Points, 1600 System Experience, a Storage Ring (Sky Grade)]

Taking Jin and Baobao under their wing was something he was already considering, and the Quest was quite a welcome surprise.

Keith was aware that the two of them possessed above-average Cultivation Talents, and were favoured by Destiny. With his help and the things he had in mind, he could make remarkably talented and worthy enough to serve as Feifei's right and left hands in the future. They could become great and loyal assets to their family.

"What do you want to do in life, Jin?" He curiously asked, and the sudden question surprised the boy.

"To be honest, I haven't really given it much thought." He embarrassedly said. "My parents expect me to take over the business in the future, but I want to do something exciting in life. I guess I will have to figure something out."

"And you?"

"I will just follow Feifei." Baobao smiled and told him. "She has already made me promise that I will be her manager and assistant in whatever she eventually decides to do." She giggled when Jin gave her a surprised look.

"You never told me that!" He complained, but the girl just shrugged at his words.

"You are still young." She teased him, and sure enough, the boy narrowed his eyes at her.

"So, how long have you two been dating?" Keith playfully asked and then laughed when the two looked like two deer caught in the headlights.

"W-what?" Jin blushed a little and then scratched the back of his head again. "We..."

"He asked me out the day after the race. And I said yes." Baobao truthfully answered, and Jin blushed some more.

"Does Feifei know?"

"No..."

"Yes." Baobao nodded her head, and Jin's mouth dropped open in surprise.

"You told her?"

"Do I have to?" She smiled at him, reminding him that Feifei did not need to be told things to be made aware of them. "She always knows what's going on. And she told me a long time ago that you were in love with me."

"What?!" He was even more flustered now, and both Keith and Baobao laughed at his reaction.

"Yup. And when we met her at the Press Conference last week, she grinned at me, and I am pretty sure it was because she had figured out what was going on."

"I don't know what to say. But why would she give up on the opportunity to pull my leg?" He frowned.

"Just be glad that she didn't. She still might do it tonight." The girl teased her boyfriend again, and Jin visibly panicked a little.

The two of them then met the Wei Family, who were gathered in the Great Hall, already sitting at the banquet table.

Even though Jin's mother belonged to the Wei Family, he had never really met all of them, but there was no hint of nervousness in his demeanour, which the elders appreciatively pointed out.

"Mr. Song." Keith suddenly called out to Jin's father, and everyone at the table turned to look at him.

"Yes, Master Demiliore?" The middle-aged man curiously replied.

"What are your thoughts on letting your son focus on becoming an Auror?"

His question surprised everyone, including the boy in question.

"This..."

"I am interested in making him my Retainer and an Envoy."

If his earlier question had taken them off-guard, his latest words shocked them to the core.

Most people did not have a clear idea about what he was saying, but those who understood the meaning behind his words were nervous and excited at the same time.

"There's no rush. You can talk to Mr. Wei and then consult the Sword Sect before you give me an answer." He smiled when he saw that Jin's parents were confused by his words, and they both nodded to him when they glanced at Wei Sheng, who seemed elated at what he had just heard.

The chat continued at the table for another hour, and then Rouxi and Feifei finally returned.
