New Beginnings

Waniya wrapped her bleeding fingers in bandages as the car zoomed forward. Branches were chasing restlessly after them and they took turns fighting and resting.

"Potion." Waniya sighed

Xayn passed a bottle with blue liquid inside and she swallowed it up in one go. She looked at her stats with a grimace.

"They really aren't giving us a break." Ivan coughed as Sera bandaged his abdomen

Urvi responded, "Because they want to kill us."

"INCOMING!!!"

Waniya stood, the other villains ducked and she spread out her blood-stained hands. They saw trees flying in their direction, she cried and pulled her hands downwards. The plant life froze and shattered into many chunks.

A twig fired into her shoulder and she bit her lower lip refusing the scream of pain to come out. She spread out her fingers, her blood dripped down as the frozen debris stopped mid-air. The frozen shards transformed themselves into blades.

"HEALER!!!" Waniya groaned

Xayn and Xenia raised their hands toward her.

[Profession-specific <Heal> has been activated on target: Player <Waniya>.....Target is in a critical state so all effects are increased by 15%. It is advised to take the target to receive medical attention immediately.]

"Wani, you need to fall back." Xayn frowned

Waniya smiled, "Nah....I won't."

"Are you trying to get yourself killed!!" Vance yelled

Waniya smiled, "I'm making sure you live. I'm not dying today and definitely not because of a fucking plant."

[Authority rushes into your body.]

"COME AT ME! YOU ROTTEN PIECE OF TIMBER!!!" Waniya yelled

A cold breeze rolled in and some ice fragments started to reform again. Ice covered her arms and formed claws over her fingers as two pairs of blue wings spread out from her back. Her clothes changed into a sleeveless white shirt with brown jeans that reached her knees. Ice covered her feet and shaped over them into inch-high heels.

[Authority of < Top of the Iced Mountains>, < Silent Killer> and < He who faces fate> are merged within Player < Waniya> body....Player's body is changing]

Her right eye's iris turned a sapphire appearance. The ice around her body became hardened as Waniya swung her left arm and spikes of ice stabbed incoming branches. The remodeled ice turned into eagles and monkeys moved forward as well.

A root shot forward quickly and snapped her outstretched left arm off. The villains widened their eyes and a smile appeared on her face. Strings grabbed onto the broken limb, pulled it back and reattached it to her body.

Waniya quickly used her right hand to grab the root and freeze it and the tree it came from. More branches came their way, the ice tree ascended with its ice roots and the ice eagles clawed at the firing twigs.

"Wani?" Yasmin whispered

Waniya's ice claws grew bigger and she thrust them up to a falling giant fruit. The ice roots spiked up their surface and shred nearby trees. The villainess let out a breath with determination as her wings stretched out.

"Take the leap...." Waniya said jumping off the vehicle

"WANIYA!!!" Jaxon yelled

Her ice wings hit many things which chipped away at them but Waniya ground her teeth together. Roots with iron tips came at her from all directions and she heard her heart pounding. Waniya pulled on her strings as she prepared to advance, but time froze.

"Why did you jump?" a voice asked "You're wings aren't real."

"I know." Waniya smiled

The voice asked without hiding the surprise in its voice, "Who are you?"

"Pillar of Faith, Waniya Clip."

"Ha, Faith....yeah, that's what you need sometimes." it laughed

The roots around were ripped apart as a human-like form of ice formed in front of her and it stretched out its hand. Waniya took its hand.

The villains saw Waniya shot up, both her iris possessed a sapphire look and her ice wings merged into a pair of large, real feathered wings. The ice around her right hand turned into a scythe shape, they saw the ice turn into metal and she swiped at the branches cruelly.

She heard a conversation with the J. brothers in her head.

"Why Pillar of Faith?" She had asked

Zaiden smiled, "Dunno. But you will, give it time and then you can tell me why."

Her slash cut into everything in front of her friends and turned it into ice. The slash cut into the earth under the trees and the clouds above the branches. In a flash, a frosty mist started to emit from her body.

[ A legend is born..... The sponsors are all looking happily.]

The villains look up at Waniya. The ice on the extremities of her body looked like her normal body parts with white-blue tattoos on them. Her golden-brown hair was now tipped white and four spikes with three rings around them appeared, two on her left and two on her right.

The villains remembered Zyder's words and they started to make sense.

"It's not over, as a matter of fact, it has only begun. You must reach the stars where no hero thought a villain could reach." he had smiled

"What have we gotten into?" they wondered finally realizing they were in something too deep now

Waniya's had turned to normal. She licked her upper lip and smiled.

[ The Tree of Slumber has identified Player < Waniya> as a high-level threat. It is focusing on the Player.]

"You want to protect Zaiden...I get that." Waniya shouted

"What?" Caesar exclaimed

Waniya frowned, "Although....I want to protect my family."

[ Tree of Slumber has developed a great respect for Player < Waniya> and says it wants to fight with full force. It has received permission to increase the energy output from its source.]

" Nava....anything?" Ivan asked hiding the panic in his force

Navaeh frowned, "I'm looking."

"I'll do my best to entertain you." Waniya smiled

Clouds filled up the sky and hail, snow and snowflakes fell. It spiraled around everywhere. The branches of the trees started to coat themselves in...something. A man appeared behind Waniya in a suit and a spear on his left.

"I wait for your command...Master." he smiled

With hail turning into multiple species including alicorns in the sky and armed gorillas in the trees, Waniya spread her wings. Trees started to take human-like and animal-like forms of different sizes.

"Who are you!" A voice boomed

Waniya smiled, the spikes around her took on a horizontal position and a roar echoed from her warriors.

"I am...Waniya, whose faith shall be intact even in the coldest Winters...Who are you!" Waniya answered

A flower rose from behind the trees and a woman looked back at Waniya with a smile.

"We are one. We are the Tree of Slumber, who protect all who wish to rest." she smiled

[ Congratulations. You will witness a battle between < Tree of Slumber> and....< Queen of Frosty Faith>]

The villains' jaws dropped.

"May I renounce the witness position?" Ivan smiled

[New Achievement has been added as witnesses for EVERYONE.]

The villains were between Waniya and the Tree of Slumber as their forces advanced.
