Alice crossed her arms and let out a groan. "New trap... ugh. I hope it doesn't get worse than this." She cast a wary glance ahead, where the next stretch of the dungeon loomed.
Larissa finally spoke, her tone cautious. "It's bound to get worse." She shook her head, eyeing the unstable terrain ahead. "We've never been this deep into the dungeon. It's going to test us harder than the last floor."
Vivian turned to Larissa, her expression a mix of amusement and warning. "Please don't say things like that," she quipped. "The last thing we need is the dungeon listening to you and deciding to drop a boulder on our heads. Seriously."
"Knowing our luck, that's exactly what'll happen," Shea chimed in, rubbing the back of her neck with a grimace. "But hey, at least we're still alive. Barely."
