First Day [5]

After 2 hours the so called 'training' has already ended.

"I've seen and appreciated the things you've been doing this past hours, and I want to congratulate you once again for entering the academy."

"Though some of you didn't took everything seriously that is."

She said while she gazed at me faintly.

'Not my fault'

"And thus, I shall conclude the day, may you go to choose your clubs you want to join in."

Cassandra once again disappeared and thus the first day of the academy has been concluded, though in the next days full on History, Magical Theory, Combat Training, Technology deciphering and Club hours will happen.

'Now this days will be long'

I looked at Astrid to where she will join in....

'The Sernon Club'

A club solely on building up connections and social gatherings.....The only reason she go there was because of some side events they have, like some monster analysis and advance news towards the empire.

'Good thing I've left some of my servants towards all the main cast, so they can alarm me of something different or bad will happen.'

I've also noticed that even a S class can't see or feel their presence, I've tried to put some on my father and Cassandra only to be unnoticed. Though I've taken back the servants I've left on Cassandra and my father.

'They won't need them though.'

I can't afford the consequences of being not observant.

'I just hope I can see her again.'

Though transmigration wasn't impossible due to me myself being the sole proof, but the chances was still slim....no it wasn't even a percentage.

Currently I am roaming towards this district in the academy called the [Club District], alongside me was both Risa and Finch.

This is where the recruiting happens alongside it was where connections within the empire can be made.

"Though I won't be joining one soon."

As I walked towards the crowd a soft sensation intervened towards my back and a pair of slender arms hooked my neck, a pair of hands also took my sight.

'By the sensation I am feeling this was a woman and basing both the reaction of Finch and Risa, this seems to be Winter.'

"Guess who am I~"

"Hmm?"

"Well if I can't see you I won't know."

"Noo~ You must guess who am I."

"Some white haired beauty that just recently became my soon to be wife?"

"Well your just giving a clue but that can pass."

She immediately tok away her weight and arms towards my body and I immediately see who it was.

"Edward... How's your day?"

"Well it was good, how about you?"

"It was also good, but one professor there seems to be looking down at the commoners in our class."

"Hmm?"

Ohh damn before I forgot, of course as a cliche rpg game endless amount of different villains will always come.

And one of the villains in the academy arc was that guy...The supremacist, William Foreman.

'Ughhh...He was basically one of the most troublesome villain in the game.'

Despite only being a [B] ranked, what makes him troublesome was his backing which was his father, at a tender age of 25 he won't be an interim in here if he doesn't have his father.

The Count and one of the most strongest in the empire, [Thunder Lord] Walton Foreman.

'Ughh'

"Well setting that aside, did you make some friends?"

She put her finger in her mouth, seemingly contemplating.

"Hmm...Well I made some though but the spirits told me that they have ulterior motives."

'Hmm? Bootlicking probably.'

Winter's name was registered as [Winter Kuri-Valentine] so it was a no brainer to know that she was a Valentine.

"Your spirits are really relevant."

"Perks of a shaman I guess."

We roamed the district for a long time.

"So what club will you join?"

"I might go to some clubs like the Forest Preservation club."

"Well that's convenient."

As a shaman, Winter has high affinity with nature spirits and the nature itself, so being in that kind of club can increase her affinity.

"Well I'll bring you there."

She just stuck her tounge towards me.

After bringing Winter towards the club, I continue to roam towards the academy.

And I must say this was boring, I am currently petting both Finch and Risa that was practically glued in my body.

In my way of walking, I spotted the main characters all of whom are going in a one group except for Astrid whom already have chosen a club.

"Well I guess the plot was going on smoothly, there's no need to intervene....now that is."

Currently there are a group of 4 teenagers walking leisurely within the Club District.

The one who asked was a man with red eyes and black hair.

"I still haven't."

Answered shortly by a woman with green eyes.

"Hey Changretta, I thought your joining the Magic Analysis Club

The man with blonde hair said with a playful smile.

"Aren't I already finding it?"

The woman with red hair answered annoyingly.

"Well I guess being a Changretta doesn't make you perfect.

"Says the man who's ego was always in his head."

Both of them, have beautiful faces that even some models in earth will be shy comparing them to theirselves.

Ruby being the youngest mage to be a 3rd circle mage and Wilson being a prodigy.

"Hey, hey calm down both of you."

The man with red hair leisurely calms the mood.

"Now that I think about it, Selena why won't you go with your fiancee?"

Wilson asked Selena with some motives, while Selena just shrugged it off.

"Please don't call me by my first name, and besides we are not engaged."

"Pfft, yeah I almost forgot."

The man just shrugged it.

"Well it was surprising to not see you with your lackeys, Wilson."

Ruby asked with a smirked on her pretty face.

"They must be choosing clubs."

On the way walking the group, they notice 2 figures walking within the district, both of their appearance contradicts each other.

If one was a shining light then one was like a bottomless darkness.

The woman got silver hair that reaches her waist, a hairpin on the side of her hair that has a silverish flower on it.

Silver eyes that was shining within the crowd, White skin and a graceful figure. She was a beauty for how she can capture the crowd with her presence alone.

While the man has a dark black hair that reaches his neck that was tied with a ponytail. Some of his hair cascaded on his forehead.

Purple eyes that has a darker shade within it compared to Cassandra, he also has a white skin and a very feminine face on stark contrast to his fit body.

Both of them was walking leisurely while holding 2 animals on their respective heads.

"Hmm? isn't that Valentine?"

After a notice Wilson's voice echoed to their group.

"Yeah....But who was she."

Ruby replied.

"Didn't you know?"

"Know what?"

"And here I thought nothing escapes your keen vision."

"Just say it."

"Fine Fine~, the northern duke fought the barbarians within the Northern wall and won, yet he didn't killed him and that's strange, the only thing my spies knew was that he brought a robed human within the duchy."

Wilson continued while still staring at both Edward and Winter.

"But well looks like she was the robed human, it was also registered that she got a Valentine surname albeit it was before her original surname."

"!!?"

"Well from the looks of it, looks like the northern duke gave her to him....It was also said that the northern duke, Edwin Valentine only love one woman and that was Edward's mother."

"Aren't you childhood sweethearts, Selena?"

Selena was just looking at Edward and Winter.

"It was in the past, we've already got no connection with each other."

"Well just like I said."

After that little episode everyone ignored the 2 and continued with finding clubs yet everyone has the same interest within one man.

"Well let's continue finding clubs."

After a few hours of finding nothing at all, I've already gave up and currently I'm heading towards the dormitory within the academy.

The dormitory was divided by ranks.

The lowest which was the [Sphinx], in which the lowest of the ranks of the academy, consisting of the lowest rank to top 600.

The next was where the top 500 to 300 stay, was the [Nemesis], and of course I am also one of the inhabitants there.

Top 300 to 50 stayed in the [Tyche]

And for the top 50 to top 10 they stay in the dormitory called [Athena].

And for the top 10 to top 1 where the main cast stayed is the all known [Nike].

The top 10 literally got their own apartment unlike mine who only has an average looking room.

And currently I'm examining my new room, which was very normal compared to my own mansion within the Valentine duchy.

"Kyuu"

'But well looks like these 2 like this room.'

A bed, table, bathroom and everything that a normal person has.

'Well at least I can relax in here, though I would love to get an upgrade.'

The changing of rankings will happen in between midterms and the finals.

'Though I would already have my own mugong before the midterms.'

And after the finals, a vacation for at least months.

"Arf!"

"Hmm? Already hungry? Really?"

Both Finch and Risa just looked at me with anticipation.

"Fine Fine."

Just a little reminder, I'm not feeding them, foods since the last month, what I'm feeding them was my mana.

Mana can be passed if you wish, but in my form I'm making a little ball of mana and making them eat it, one of the rules when making a contract with beasts.

Both of them latched within my hand and excitedly ate the mana.

"Hey slow down both of you."

I've also notice something about my mana, I thought it was corrosive due to my affinity with death yet these 2 love it very much.

'Maybe it was the effect of the [Dragon Veins].'

Dragons are mana loving creatures, as divine beast they got one of the highest affinity for mana.

'Makes sense why [Leviathan's Fangs] got a huge amount of mana within it.'

A knock on my door made me out of my daze.

"Who could it be?"

I wLked towards the door and opened it, only to see a wan with black hair and red eyes staring infront of me with a slanted smile on her face.

"Hello young master~"

Rebecca greeted me woth a sweet smile as always.

"Yeah, it took you fast to get in here huh?"

Suddenly 2 little beasts came infront of my foot only to latched on her huge chest.

Boing~ Boing~

Those rich and plump fruits bounced proudly and it caught my eye.

"Ohh, looks like they both followed you young master."

I scratch my cheek and averted my gaze to her huge fruits.

"Yeah"

"Now that I think about it, where are you going to stay?"

"I'm staying in a separate building where maids will stay."

"Ohh? looks like the academy got a luxury for that."

"Yeah, even before I graduated some of my batchmates always have maids, for making food, cleaning the room and even for warming up the bed."

"????"

I became dumbfounded.

"What?"

"Yes warming up the bed, I stayed in Tyche dormitory in the past and some nobles always have their each and own nightly activities."

"???"

"Just how vulgar this academy was."

"Well in the Athena dormitory it was much more peaceful and utter silence for Nike dorm."

"Yeah I almost forgot your literally a celebrity in here."

Rebecca just smiled and giggled while placing her hand in her mouth.

"Fufu~ I guess so, it was already in the past though and the all known Cassandra Payne was in here so it was very easy to get foreshadowed."

"Now that I think about it, was she also your teacher?"

"Yes~, she was also my teacher in the past, she even became my personal mentor."

"Ohh..."

Now that made me dumbfounded.

The all known shadow queen being the mentor of Rebecca makes me think why she was hella strong in the game.

And it got answered.

"Even William Foreman was my classmate....He even tried to court me once, only to fail."

"Why are you saying this to me?"

"Just a precaution young master, fufufu."
