Back inside Andre's penthouse, he was still processing all the information that he received that night with the help of a glass of whiskey. He was still seated on the same chair with Daxon and Amina on the sofa.
"I could not believe that our family got involved with those kinds of people," Andre said as he drank what was left of his glass.
"I don't think Dad would let it happen if it was him. I don't think you would let it happen as well," Amina tried to pacify the disappointment that she knew her brother was feeling.
"If it will make you feel better, we believe that your ancestors were tricked into that deal. They want Delphine Island in the first place so they would do anything to get it," Daxon said. Amina looked up at him and smiled appreciatively. She was thankful that he was also trying to make her brother feel better.
