"Let's take a look," Matthew grabbed Olivia's hand, and then he dragged her toward the small villa. Though it was called a villa, by the resort, it was actually just a small yet luxurious beach house that was elevated from the ground and surrounded by a wrap-around porch.
It was secluded and very private because it was sitting alone on that part of the hill. It was surrounded by small luscious trees and tall growing flowering plants that makes it exclusive. In fact, even they cannot see any other villas or any other resort guests.
It almost seems like they were the only people in that place.
Not to mention that it was so quiet save for the sounds of the waves crashing on the sand and the occasional squawking of seagulls, making it seem like a paradise…their own little paradise.
"This is so beautiful," Olivia said in a dreamy tone as soon as she stepped onto the wooden porch. She even left her sandals on the final steps of the stairs because she was tempted to feel the floor that looks shiny.
Olivia walked toward the railing of the porch and looked around. The porch has sheer white curtains tied in its posts. There was a small lounge area with two soft and comfortable looking lounge chairs facing the sea. She could already see her and Matthew watching the sunset there. On the other end of the porch was a small dining table that could fit two people.
Olivia smiled as she imagined a romantic dinner at that table. With Matthew's personality, she will not be surprised if he already has planned a romantic dinner for them.
"Very beautiful," Matthew agreed. But unlike Olivia, he was not complimenting the view or the villa. His gaze was fixed on Olivia who had a blissful look on her face.
Olivia was so beautiful and she looked even more beautiful whenever she looked as if she didn't have any care in the world. Having a break from work was good for her as she appeared relaxed and had no stress at all.
Olivia's dark brown hair was long and had natural big waves. Since they were near the sea, it was a little bit windy, so her hair was blown away but it was not enough to make her hair messy. There were just a few stray strands of hair that got into her face that she quickly brushed off and tucked behind her ear.
Her face was almost bare with makeup. Only mascara which was almost unnecessary because she has naturally long and thick lashes, and lip balm which she always has in her purse or bag because her lips tend to quickly dry. But despite that, she still looks naturally beautiful. She has that air of femininity and peaceful look on her face which one would not get tired of staring at.
Her beauty was effortless.
Her brown upturned eyes always looked like they were telling a story. Matthew loves to steal kisses from her plump lips and even at the tip of her button nose which always looks inviting.
And when she smiles…which she always does whenever she is around Matthew, he feels as if he was graced by the presence of a goddess. She was breathtaking, especially now as she looked at him with a blush on her face when she realized that he was talking about her and not the scenery or the place.
Olivia pursed her lips and looked away from Matthew's gaze which was full of adoration. "I wish we could stay here like…forever," She said even though it was wishful thinking. Their lives…especially now are not always unicorns and butterflies. So she has to seize the peaceful moments that she and Matthew have.
After a while, they both took a tour of the small yet cozy villa. It only has one bedroom that has three sliding glass and wooden doors that all lead to the porch. It was ornate with natural finishes with a splash of colors.
The floors and high ceilings were made of dark wood, as well as the bed and the cabinets. But it was balanced by the natural light coming from the doors and colorful floral printed curtains that matched the beddings and pillows.
Fresh flowers and plants can be found in every corner of the room giving it a fresh and cool vibe.
Once they settled in, Olivia took a nap on the bed swing on the other side of the porch which she didn't see earlier when they arrived. While Matthew checked his emails on his laptop in case there was work that needed to be done. He wanted it to be done as soon as possible so that they could explore the beach for the rest of the day.
An hour later, Olivia woke up feeling refreshed. She cannot help but smile when she was greeted by the scenic view of the sea and the sounds of the waves crashing on the sand from the distance.
She stretched her body and started to search for Matthew who was not sitting on the small dining table where she saw him before she fell asleep.
Olivia walked around the porch and found Matthew on the lounge chair with his laptop.
When Matthew sensed Olivia's presence, he looked up and smiled. Since he was done double-checking the strategy that he wrote for a client, he closed his laptop and put it on the side table. He stretched his hand to Olivia which she grabbed and then pulled her to his lap.
Olivia giggled and circled her arms around Matthew's neck. "Do you want to order food?" She asked not because she is hungry but because they haven't eaten anything except for the chips ever since they arrived. They arrived by lunchtime and surprisingly they were not yet hungry.
Matthew shook his head and chuckled. "Babe, we ate the whole drive here. I feel like bursting already," He said then his hands that were around Olivia's waist traveled down to her hips and then to her thigh.
Olivia tilted her head. "Then how about we burn all the calories?" She asked.
Matthew's eyes instantly twinkled with mischief. "Definitely," He squeezed her thigh, and then he nuzzled his nose on Olivia's neck.
Olivia felt as if a small electric current ran under her skin when Matthew started to trail kisses to her neck, to the skin behind her ear, her jaw, and her shoulder. She cannot stop the moan that escapes her lips and she instinctively closed her eyes.
But then she realized that Matthew took her words into something else. She opened her eyes and playfully smacked Matthew's arm. "Babe! I am not talking about that! I am talking about the beach. Let's go swim!" She said, pouting her lips.
But Matthew took that as an opportunity to claim her lips. He kissed Olivia slowly and sensually without rushing it. He took all his time to kiss her knowing that they have days to spend alone with each other.
"Babe, we have a lot of time for that," Matthew said in between kisses.
Olivia pulled away and said, "Babe, we can do 'that' back at home but it is not all the time we get to swim on the beach. Come on! Let's get change," Before Matthew could kiss her again, knowing that she would lose against his kisses, Olivia quickly stood up and ran inside the room to change her clothes.
Minutes later, Olivia had already changed into a two-piece floral bikini that she bought from the boutique making Matthew groan. Not that she doesn't look good in it, in fact, she looked too good…too hot, in it making him certain that anyone who would see her would take a double look. Some would even dare to stare and gawk at her.
Matthew will not have that. He will go on a rampage if anyone dares to stare at his woman while she wears almost nothing.
Even though Olivia was wearing a cover-up, he knew that once she took it off, it would show her perfect curves that would make any man's mouth water and start fantasizing about her. Just the thought of it makes him regret taking Olivia to that place.
Olivia is a part-time model and Matthew doesn't have any problem with it at all. Until he realized that part of her job was to walk on a runway and pose in front of a camera wearing a bikini and lingerie for everyone to see. She even has to pose with all her skin exposed in front of a camera with another man!
The first time that Matthew watched her in a runaway, he was taken by surprise when Olivia suddenly walked out wearing a set of lacey lingerie. Olivia looked too sexy in the set and Matthew almost ran towards her and covered her with his suit if he was not stopped by his friends who came with him to support Olivia.
After that, they argued. That was their first big fight and they were not in a relationship back then yet. Olivia said that if Matthew cannot accept the fact that it was part of her job, forget about being with her. Because she will not give it up because of him.
At that time, Olivia was working as a part-time model while studying. That was her only source of living and Matthew knew that she would not give it up.
So he chose to compromise. He would just have to learn how to control his anger whenever he sees the audience…especially men at the runaway staring at Olivia wearing a sexy bikini or lingerie. Later on, he learned how to ignore them and just focus on Olivia only.
Until now, Matthew is still not comfortable about it. Yes, he allows Olivia to wear a bikini and lingerie on the runway or in front of the cameras only because he knew that it was part of her job even though it was just part-time because she enjoys being a model. But he was still not okay with that. He was just not saying it to her because he knew that it would upset her. He doesn't want to upset her.
Olivia enjoys modeling, which is why giving it up is not crossing her mind, yet.
Matthew wondered if Olivia would continue modeling once they were already married.
