Mayne Attraction

Ted and Klaus discussed plans relating to Troy Mogwai "I will contact you when anything is interesting that I need your assistance." Ted walked away from Klaus and walked the streets of Junstrek, Ted called Mayne "Hey Mayne." Mayne could tell in Ted's tone that he was depressed "Hey! When was the last time we ever had some time to ourselves?" Mayne responded "I don't think we ever hang out. Why? You want to link up?" Ted replied with a 'sure' and he sent Mayne his location, he sat beside some benches, only noticing that he hasn't got his holomask and he took out his phone and looked at his reflection. He began having flashes that showed him but with no cyber ware installed into him, he found himself in a men's bathroom and he looked at his reflection in the mirror, he left the men's bathroom and noticed that he was in a packed bar, his vision became darker and his mind becoming corrupted "Kill..." an eerie voice talking in Ted's head "Kill..." it was focusing on a brunette woman who looked like she was waiting for someone "Kill..." Ted wanted to tell whoever was saying that shut up but he walked towards the woman and with the words becoming aggressive "Kill!" Ted was about to put his hands on the woman's neck but when she saw him, she jumped from her seat and hugged Ted "Are you okay? You look unwell..." Ted's felt dizzy and hit his head on the table "Oh my God, see you okay?" she looked worried, Ted slowly placed his hand on the woman's face, stood up and placed his lips on her but he interrupted as someone was calling him. "Ted! Wake up!" Ted woke up and found Mayne in front of him "Sorry Mayne I... How do you know it's me?" Mayne didn't understand what Ted was on about "You remember me with THIS face." Ted put on the holomask and showed his fake face "Well I uh..." Mayne grabbed Ted and threw him onto the trunk of the car "I've got him, I'm returning as of now." Ted banged on the trunk "Mayne! What are you doing?! Let me out!" Ted continuously banged on the trunk. He managed to open it and exit the car, he hid before Mayne realized he had escaped and that was when he realized that he was injected with something, he took the needle out and saw that it was manufactured by Zypher, he felt a hand touching him on the shoulder and saw that it was Mayne, Ted began attacking Mayne while he tried to calm Ted down "Listen to me Ted, it's me, Mayne, the REAL Mayne, the one you saw was a fake and... Did you get plastic surgery? Man your face looks like that old dude in Zypher." Ted didn't believe him and tried to punch Mayne but noticed that Mayne didn't have a bug on his left arm, unlike the one that he saw. Ted stepped back and asked, "How do I know you're not a fake?" Mayne was about to speak but was unsure how he could prove to Ted that he wasn't counterfeit. "All I can tell you is that I didn't know that you have a different face... Anyway, did you get plastic surgery?" Ted responded "Believe me when I say that I didn't know that I was wearing a holomask... I guess you are Mayne."
