Chapter 21: Early Graduation

'Join squad 5' Sul thought.

"Captain Vontiac" a dark drone said speaking to The captain.

Jeremi turns around to speak with the drone.

"Captain there's been some suspicious activity somewhere north of our base, do we have permission to engage?" The drone asks.

"Do as you please, just don't make too much of a mess" Jeremi's says. "Can't promise you that you know how messy my battles can be" the voice coming from the drone says.

"Azul!!" Jeremi screams as the drone leaves the room. "Honestly why do I even bother"

"Sorry Sul I have to go. Take some time and think about joining our squad. I'm very sure you would love it, we have people with all sorts of powers and personalities."

Jeremi says as he exits the room.

Sul took some time thinking about the topic before coming to a conclusion.

[north of squad 5's base]

Two cloaked figures walked towards what seemed to be a large dark dome shaped base. The dome was covered with acres of forest and vegetation. "Did you notice them?" One of the figures asked, "how couldn't I have? It's like they aren't even trying to hide." The other said.

The same dark drone which was in the room with captain Jeremi had appeared in the forest, landing a couple of miles away from the two figures heading to the dome. "Captain Jeremi has given us the ok to engage." Azul says to a comrade who wore the same uniform and had the same number embedded on the back of the uniform, both their uniforms had a badge that stated vice captain. The color of their uniform was purple just like their captains robe.

"Those drones of yours they sure come in handy," the other squad member says, looking at Azul with admiration. "Of course their impressive Shen, why else would I be vice captain of squad 5 if I wasn't always impressive by nature." Azul says. "Ha I can see why the captain enjoys your company your quite a funny one." Shen says.

Azul sends the drone at maximum speed towards the two making their way to the dome. They both look back observing the drone. They both jumped from their original location 'too slow' one of them thought as the drone continued to make its way to the dome. "Wait a minute we weren't his targets." The other says as the drone hits the dome and explodes.

"Score" Azul says as he and Shen make their way out of the forest and toward me their enemies. " yo" Azul says proudly. "Nice to meet you there," Shen said giving the strangers a huge grin. "Who are you?" One of the figures asks with a shaded grin on their face. "I am Shensai khalil, Vice capt of squad 5, but call me Shen and the guy next to me is Azul, my best friend he's also the vice-captain of Sul Squad 5." Shen says with a smile.

The figures both took their cloaks off as they reveal themselves "I am Shia" one says, "this is my partner Ravi, we're part of a noble cause that seeks to over throw all the kingdoms." Shia justifies.

Shia is a tall pink haired woman she wore a pink outfit with long dark socks alongside a pouch she stored her important needs in.

Ravi is a tall skinny man with black hair and wore a standard brown coat which was furry the neck, along side a brown button down shirt with brown pants, In his hands he held a long cane with a crystal ball on the top.

"Shia what did I tell you about running your loud mouth to our enemies." Ravi says.

"Sorry You know how bad I am at keeping secrets, it won't matter anyways since we're going to kill em off here." Shia says. "Take the one who uses the drone, I'll take the one who has that awkward smile." Ravi says. As they both get in battle positions.

"Hahaha". Shen says as his smile fades away into a cold serious stare, "don't get cocky, we're not to be taken easy, if you underestimate us for even a second you will have your body and skin turned into smoked chicken." Shen says giving off a different aura than before. "Enough with all this chit chat" Azul says as he loosens his uniform and takes the shirt off, revealing his scars and abs. "I didn't want to get my uniform destroyed ." He says as he walks up and large purple octopus tentacles emerge from his back. "Now then shall we begin?" Azul says with a a smug look.

[hospital room]

"Well Sul you're all set and good now." A nurse says as she examined Sul's physical conditions. "I thought you said I would be out of commission for the next 4 days." Sul said. "Well apparently what ever happened all your injuries are healed, quite strange never have I once seen a patient heal this fast ever." The nurse says.

'It was probably him, What was his name anyways? Whatever.' Sul thought in his head.

Sul walked out his the hospital and to his dorm, where he saw Isaiah and Vil having a very competitive arm wrestle. "I'm home Sul says" as they both look towards the door and say hi to Sul. "Welcome back Home" Isaiah says. "how are you able to walk?" Vil asked.

"I have no idea, but I'm doing fine luckily." Sul says. With no hesitation an eager Isaiah was quick to ask "so what did the captain want to talk about?" Isaiah asked. "Nothing much he just briefed me on what happened during the tournament after I blacked out, and wanted to recruit me in his squad." Sul says. "Wait so does that mean that your also graduating early?" Isaiah asked. "Well yes it seems li- wait what do you mean also." Isaiah let out a sneaker, "c'mon tell me stop holding it to yourself. "Both Vil, and I are legible for early graduation." I've been recruited by my dad, and he's been recruited by the captain of squad 2." Isaiah informed.

"That's amazing you all , but then that means we won't be in the same squad." Sul said saddened. "It's fine at least now we get to do real battle, and actually fight alongside the squads. Vil said. "Well Sul now that you're here I can leave now." Isaiah says Walking to the door. "Well where you going?" Sul asked. "You're not the only one who got hurt in the tournament you know." Isaiah says as he walked out the room.

[Hospital]

Kayla stood in front of Kenji who was in his hospital bed receiving treatment for his injuries. "I will kill that dang peasant for embarrassing me that bad in the tournament." He said as he gritted his teeth. Kenji don't move your face too much, you might end up getting hurt. Hahahaha" Kayla taunts. "SHUT UP" Kenji screams.

A knock was heard on the door as the two Silva siblings looked over. "Fath- I mean captain Silva." Kayla says surprised to see his dad. "Kayla, Kenji how nice two of my children in one room… say, where is Isaiah?" Captain Silva asked. "Most likely with his peasant friends. He never has time to hang out with his siblings anymore " Kayla says. "Peasant? Friends?" The captain asked.

"Yes well the two peasants that did well against their opponents. The one who kicked Kenji's butt, and the one who defeated that time user and went on a rampage." Kayla said.

"Ah those two, they did well in holding their own, even I was impressed." The captain said.

"Well Kenji, why have you been silent? What? Peasant got your tongue?" Captain Silva asked. "You didn't seem silent when fighting that peasant boy did you" The captain stated.

"I- um." Kenji says.

"You have disgraced our family's legacy, by not only losing to a peasant but by running your mouth and showing excessive hubris, your punishment will be waiting for you when you come back home." Captain Silva says.

"Gee Dad is there a time when you're not scolding our poor little brother Kenji," Isaiah says as he walked in.

"Well, this seems nice a Silva family reunion," Kayla says.

"Isaiah come let's talk." His father says.

"Both you and Kayla did amazing in the tournament. Isaiah you accepted my offer to join Squad 6, but Kayla you declined. Why?" Captain Silva asked.

"Sorry Father but, I don't want to live under your wing forever, unlike your favorite child Isaiah, I want my path, that's why I'm joining Squad 2. "Captain Myra gives off a strong vibe, and it draws me to her," Kayla says. "If that's what you want then I won't force you, but Squad 6 is always open for you." Her father says with a cheerful smile.

He looked at Kenji and his smile became a frown of disappointment.

"As for you Kenji, you will remain in the academy until I feel you're ready for graduation." Captain Silva says.

"Understood," Kenji says as sweat drops fall from his face.

[Forest]

"Ghaaaaaaaa" Azul says as he punched Shia in the face making her fall to the ground with immense force. "You haven't gotten a least bit rusty." Shen says. "Shut up I don't even know why you bother speaking to me," Azul says frustrated. Shen took off his cloak off revealing his blue almost spiked hair, and a bottle on his side which seemed to be attached to his skin. He wore gray strips of clothing almost making him look mummified and brown shorts.

"So these are the vice captains of squad 5, looking no different from savages," Shia says.

"Watch your mouth miss, this can get very dangerous why don't you sit on the corner and look pretty." Azul says to her. "HOW SEXIST OF YOU SOMEONE HAS TO SPANK THE DIRT OUT OF THAT DIRTY MOUTH OF YOURS." Shia says as she ran towards Azul.

"Since your mama didn't teach you better I'll teach you." Shia said as she puts her hands in her pouch grabbing what seems to be a staff. She held the staff tightly in both hands as she began swinging it at Azul. Azul dodged most of the attacks and stepped back, you're quite nimble, she says as she paints the staff at Azul. He looks at her bewildered, "vibe technique" she says as the staff enlarges and stretches towards Azul, "what the?" He says as he dodged the attack. With a slight cut on his cheek.

"Can you dodge this one?" She says as the staff shrinks then enlarges and stretches again. 'This staff of her's." Azul says. The staff gets infront of him as he jumps up and lands on it running on the staff. He gets infront of her and tries to kick her in the face. "Got you" he says. "Did you think it would be this easy?" She replied, She shrinks the staff as Azul fell before being able to deliver the kick.

Azul looks up only to notice her in the air above him with her staff in position, "oh sh-"

"Vibe technique" She says. The staff enlarged and stretched as it pushed Azul through many trees and rocks in the forest causing a long line of dust. "Well, well, Would you look at that." She says "it seems even a vice captain couldn't handle me in my weakest form pathetic" Shia said.

"Pathetic? Yes that's correct" Azul said coming from all the dust that had been kicked up. "How are you still alive?" Shia asked as shock hits her. "Alive? How can I not be alive when you used an attack so pathetic as that on me." He said as he slowly walked out of the dust. His body was unscathed, but his clothes were ripped apart, and shredded.

"NOW IT'S MY TURN"he screamed

He grabbed two weapons on both of his sides, both weapons had a look unlike any other they were in the shape of a very thin sword, the guards was dragon flying around held in place with 4 metal thin bars. The whole sword itself was no bigger than piano wire, but the handle was a normal length. He lunged himself towards her aiming the sword on his right hand at her head. She easily dodged to the right, but just as she stopped.

Azul maneuvered his body mid air as he used his left hand now to slash at her.

Azul fell on his Back as Shia tried to dodge the attack, but failed. He left a cut on her face and her chest. A little of her clothes come off as her breasts begun to show. Azul looked at her and he immediately turns away. "This is why I don't like fighting females." Azul says.

"YOU NASTY, DISGUSTING, PERVERT. THIS IS DISGRACEFUL." She screamed. "I always knew you were attracted to me." Shia says.

"What?" Azul says disoriented. "Don't act dumb, ever since the battle began, you've been trying to expose my body under my clothes." Shia teased.

"I am officially repulsed by you." Azul says.

He readies himself as he prepares for a strike. Purple octopus tentacles appear from his back again. "I have had enough of you." He dashed towards her faster than she could track. 'What the I couldn't see him, he got faster?' Shia thought. When she noticed him again, he was right in front of her with his palm wide open.

"Vibe technique" he says, a large sized spherical ball of energy formed in his palm. "Plasma bomb." He finished, he hit her in the chest causing her to break through a long wide area of trees, for 30 seconds. "YOU SON OF A." Shia screams as it could be heard throughout the whole forest.

"I'm not done yet." Azul says with a huge smirk plastered on his face. Before Shia could say anything else, she got engulfed in a huge explosion, destroying and scorching the surrounding trees and the surrounding land.

"Did you really think that was all there is to an attack as complex as plasma bomb." Azul says walking away. In front of him was Shen who had already finished his own battle. "Took you long enough." Shen taunted. "The one I fought was annoying, but she should be dead now." Azul says. "Oh yes I can see she died, I guess death by explosion was the most flashiest way to get rid of someone, huh." Shen said.

Azul just ignored him.

"Where's the guy you were fighting," Azul asked.

"Oh him, he's behind me. Wasn't that hard to kill." Shen says. Azul looked behind, Shen, only to find the scorched body of Ravi. The thick smell of burnt flesh surrounded the area. "You weren't joking when you said you'd turn him into smoked chicken," Azul says.

"When do I ever joke?" Shen asks. "You always were the cunning one." Azul replied.

"What now?" Shen asked. "I guess we should investigate the dome." Azul says. The two turn back, "who the hell are you?" Azul asks as a cloaked person holding the dead bodies of Ravi and Shia stood between them and the dome. "You two did great against my puppets, but I'm afraid thats as much entertainment your getting today." The figure said.

The person takes a step back as they notice Azul and Shen next to him with their weapons to his neck.

"Don't even think about it." Azul says. "I wouldn't have thought the vice captains of this kingdom would be so foolish." The person says. A part of their stomach swells up as several multiple other parts expand as well. Both Shen and Azul realize what was about to happen as they jump away to a safe distance. Azul got his plasma bomb ready, and Shen opened his bottle.

The figure still holding the dead bodies, went on top of the dome, and exploded. Wild embers almost went loose on the forest as Shen's bottle began absorbing it. When he was done nothing remained of the dome or the figure not even ashes.

[south west of the dome]

"Well the dome is safely destroyed with no evidence of it ever being there was left behind. Seems my work here is done." A shadow said, revealing his blood red eyes.
