Unbeknownst to time, Alec who was surviving in the jungle on his own, spent over a whole year in the forest fighting for his survival.

From the day he ran towards the forest to survive the slaughter that happened in his city, he hasn't seen any living person then on.

At first Alec wasn't sure if he would survive in forest thus he tried to run away from the forest on the very first day and faced a near death experience.

He too himself wasn't sure how he survived as the last memory of that time felt like his last moments, however something awoke inside him that day which helped him till now to survive in this dangerous forest.

Alec lived a humble life before the massacre happened, he was an orphan like many others under the temple.

His daily life focused on praying in the morning, working part time, getting education from priests and school, and helping them in various other things.

In their free time everyone tried to focus on their natural growth in hope of getting admission in prestigious academies and become a hero-like figures for humanity in near future.

But Alec never felt an urge to do those things, he somehow loathed them, as their dreams were puny just like their existence in his eyes.

It wasn't that he hated them, after all they were his comrades who lived and ate together with him. But from childhood he had difficulty in understanding various concepts of human emotions just like care and hope.

He didn't understand the concept of living for others nor the emotions people felt by helping the weak.

However he masked his loath towards those actions and tried to be kind with a warm smile on his face and act like others.

The day when the monster stampede and devil appeared, he felt shaken to his core however it wasn't because they broke his home, killed his friend or destroyed his safe environment.

He was angry about those things, but that devil playing with his life for own amusement, shaken him to the core.

He felt indescribably huge anger, his pride crumbled to pieces and he knew he couldn't do anything. although he wanted to tear apart that smile of his face, he understood the reality much more then those foolish awakeners who tried to attack him.

Controlling his emotions he ran towards the forest to avoid his imminent death.

He a prodigy of the whole city but still needed to runaway, it wounded his core. He becoming a plaything for the devil, wounded his core. The emotion called fear which he never felt before he felt it the first time in a moment when death was close to his neck, it wounded his core.

'Power is what i need, a power to stand above everyone, a power which create difference, a power those devil fear and a power to broke the jaws of those who denigrate me'

With a clear resolution that he never had before Alec survived every harsh day in the forest to reach out to a city.

But by no means his life became smooth, he was facing death at every nook and crannies and still persisted.

The power that he wanted was getting in his hand by challenging tough monsters and with the securance of his Generis, he pushed him to take more major risks.

The immense pride that he carried was getting fueled by his victorious battle with tough monsters, although he knew it wasn't enough but it was the way to gain power till he reached any city.

Right now he was deciding whether to enter or not in the dungeon present in front of him.

As he had no knowledge of gauging dungeon rank he was a little hesitant, but him standing in front of the dungeon was evident that he had already decided what to do.

"Fuu, let's see what lies behind this thing"

Alec released a deep breath and entered the dungeon in front of him, throwing a little hesitant outside and carrying a confident smile on his face.

In Olympian, Artius was in the library searching about what the Jobs temple defines. The jobs in nomans terms were classes in which awakeners were defined after they start doing their jobs.

It was classified in three ways, first being the Warriors who were in majority with almost 70% of awakeners being them, Second were Arcaneists with a 20% of numbers, and the last 10% being Spellcrafters.

Although after reaching the rank S all paths combined together and later walk on the same road of formation of rings, still the rewards and time will be different.

Artius doesn't remember any of the Job being above each other in the game information as they were decided by birth and were just a diversity in the people.

But it does provide a boost in gaining rank quickly during the lower ranks. Both Arcaneists and Spellcrafters lacked something in return of which they get other things in return. It was an undeniable equilibrium that couldn't be broken.

"If i remember correctly then there were only 1 arcaneists and 1 spellcrafter in the hero party too, they sure are rare,

*sigh*

I myself is a warrior, still it would be cool if i was an arcaneist"

Artius knew he was a warrior because he was already tested in Temple after awakening. But most of the people don't know that and only get to know after they take the examination test for the academy or go to a temple and spend money.

The same was the case with affinities which vary according to each person and decides which type of spells and aura you will use in your life.

"Temple was undeniably an important authority, but i knew very little about it"

Tapping his finger on the table Artius started pondering about the temple.
