1. THE VAST QUEST

Whistling along a cracked sidewalk, a teenage boy- a beat up backpack. A long hood, as well as baggy jeans. Black low top shoes, his hair covering his eyes. Black with strips of white- his fingernails painted black. His name - EXO FLARE.

Heading way through an ally shortly left of himself, a door appearing from nothing- along the wall side. He quickly did a look around and charged through the door. Among opening were a young lady and an older man -

REX SKULL - Age: 27, 6'1, 223lbs, muscular and strict. Bald with a dark brown beard. He wore wrist bands and a muscle shirt. Black jeans with a belt, and no shoes.

EVA HIJO - Age: 16, 5'2, 121lbs, she wore a red long-sleeve and blue jeans. Her shoes were low-top, beaten up black shoes. Her nails painted red, her hair was blonde- running down each side of her face.

Exo: Hey guys, what's the progress on project 516a?

Rex: Take a look for ya'self champ.

Eva: I'm sure you'll be excited to see what we've accomplished.

Exo took a step towards their tech system. A reading on the top right read 'Data successfully transfered'. With that, exo turned towards his comrades-

Exo: We'll have the entire layout printed out immediately. Then I'll make some calls on the burners in the backroom. Make sure to destroy anything in the lab once we reach phase 2 of 516a.

Eva: On it boss.

Rex: Hears to hoping this doesn't end up like project 224b.

-Outside in the alleyway-

Robotic voice, a techno shadow scattered: G*'- .. Gonshi- we'V.. We've reached the-..[/ -Bounty. Self-destruction mode is necessary, foR m-y u4iT, iZ c0Rr7pt3$..

A voice on the radio- the mysterious Man known as 'Gonshi': Good job AxF51, infiltrate their base of operations and begin the self destruction sequence. I will make sure to have Dr. Harvey upload your schematic to our new model. See you soon friend.

Exo: Look at this guy's, I acquired a few log chips. Each one being 723 credit alone. That'll cover our asses on lab materials for our next gig.

Rex: Invest it anonymously into weaponry, the spike for overwhelming firepower has risen tenfold. You'd see that credit doubled within a few weeks.

Eva: I agree with Rex, if we blow it now on this then we won't have enough funds for extra components. And Rex'll have to threaten the landlord again.

Exo: I'm not gambling our money. I don't trust investments, especially under an anonymous alias. We'd be putting our work on hold and giving the government an opening to catch up to us.

Rex: You're paranoid brother. We've outsmarted them while rubbing two sticks together.

Eva: And Exo, where's your backpack?

Exo: Shit I left it outside- let me go grab i-

As he went to open the door, and explosion went off. The impact sent him flying back, and ingulfed the lab with flames and rubble. In the midst, the plans for 516a were destroyed.

Exo: Gu- gahhh... D-Dammit...

...wait...REX? EVA? HELLO, GUYS ARE YOU THERE?...

A noise made its way through the rubble...

"y-yea bro, we're good. I've got her, let's just get the hell outta this building- before *coughing* it falls on us".

It was Rex, he held Eva on his shoulder- she was unconscious.

Exo: I'll meet you guys outside- I have to make sure we have something left here. Otherwise we're gonna be screwed before we even begin our next project.

Rex: Get your ass outside, stop worrying about this damn data. We'll start from scratch- just like during 224b.

The building began to crumble, Exo frustratingly gave up on searching for schematics/data, anything he could find, and made his way outside.

Outside the building was a heap of robotic weaponry, mashed together to make a Techno Shadow.

Rex: You're alive man, least I know you care more for your life then these damn schematics. Good shit.

Exo: I woulda stayed in there, but I know you two need me. Where'd you guys go without me?

Rex chuckled as he put his arm over Exo, they made their way down the alleyway, out to the curbside. Unbenounced to them- a chip had picked up their signal-

Gonshi: Their alive, luck seems to be on his side. He doesn't know yet, but he will- Exo Flare- we will meet again...
