The Blink Beast picked itself up while in Lovo's arms. It seemed like a normal living being except the gem imbedded in its forehead. Instead of it glowing blue it was now a ruby red color.

Even Sheva and Kelagar were surprised by this beast. If they weren't there to witness it they would have thought this was a rare Blink Beast puppy. Not a reanimated one.

"Wow! Aren't you special Cosmo! You look like a living puppy!"

"Bark bark!"

Cosmo seemed happy and wagging its tail. Even licking Lovo's face.

Shortly Master Fontana came up to the small group.

"Sheva, Kelagar. Would the two of you like a puppy? We only need two. You can bring another one with you to your Guild Master."

The two adventurers were take aback. They are enemies not that long ago. Now the head of the Druids were offering a gift not only to them but to their Guild Master as well.

"Are you sure" Sheva asked "Blink Beasts are rare creatures."

Master Fontana only smiled.

"I'm sure. Lord Lovo wants to build a good relationship with Oswik. There no harm in giving these puppies away."

"Are you sure Fontana? You'd be doing me a great service" Lovo chimed in.

Master Fontana just nodded.

"Yes. You've saved us, let us have a goodbye with Prydier and Grunga, and have a new home.

This is a trivial matter."

He turned back to the two adventurers.

"Unfortunately the puppies need to stay with their mother for another week before they can leave on their own. More then welcome to tell your Guild Master and come here in a week."

"Yes please do" Lovo butted in "hopefully the castle would be in slightly better condition. Would love to have you and your Guild Master and anyone else here. If there are any refugees they are more then welcome to live here."

"We will talk to the Guild Master" Sheva stated "from there it's his decision. He's watching over the town of Oswik.""

"Great! Well I'll leave you guys to all rest."

Lovo said while placing Cosmo on the ground.

"Sleep well all" he then called out to everyone.

Master Fontana bid goodnight as well and left to check on Balor, Ethinu and the Blink Beasts.

"What a strange crowd this is" Kelagar said.

"Indeed it is. Let's get some rest before we head to town. Guild Master will have a lot of questions. He's definitely going to want to come here personally."

"Right."

The two put out the fire and went inside their tents. Kipi informed the everyone he would be first watch with Gega and another Hunter that might. Everyone felt better. This was all their first night in this castle. Even that being said Sheva and Kelagar were slightly on edge just incase Lovo tried something.

Thankfully the night went by and nothing unexpected happened.

Lovo did have to send Neasa to bed, it was little past 1 am when he finally got her to go to sleep.

During the night Lovo just worked on his skills and check his, stats and even evolution. He also managed to get his Hybrind Bone Progress to 40%. Thankfully he was using lots of different bones; goblin, human, Wolfaconda, Ogre, and Orc bones. He was saving most of the Ogre bones for heavier weapons. Once Julki finished evolving he would see how many slots he has left. He wants to get Atlas and Bulwark back.

He spent his 5 attribute points in getting White Magic Novice skill, leaving him with only a single skill point.

"I should spend it on my White magic skill. See what happens."

Opening the skills menu he added the point to his White magic skill. To his surprised it didn't level up, but it did change.

"Huh. Looks like I need to level that up to progress more. Wonder if that's how it is for all the other magic classes? I don't have one for Black Magic but my class is necromancer. Maybe because that's my main class. Makes sense. Now time to look at my evolutions."

[Evolution Pathway Options:

Spiritmancer: these necromancers focus on controlling spirits of the dead to be their summons.

Pure Necro: these necromancers focus on the purity of their summons. Only using skeletons and bones

Flesh Bender: these necromancers focus on the flesh of their undead. Zombies and other undead that almost seem life like.

Lord Necro: these necromancers fight with their summons. Not the best spell casters as other necromancers, but they are prolific warriors with the undead.

Deathmancer: a rare type of necromancer. Requirements being a Vampire and Necromancer. These necromancers focus on using the power of the black magic to cast deadly life slaying spells.

Daywalker:an extremely rare evolution. Requirements being Vampire, Necromancer and able to use White magic. These rare necromancers use their magic to show up their weaknesses. ]

"HOLY SHIT! These evolutions are amazing! I'm glad I decided to learn White Magic before checking my evolutions. I for sure wouldn't have gotten that Daywalker evolution without it. I'm definitely going to pick that as my evolution."

Just as he was about to click on it he stopped his hand.

"Wait! I'm going to be in a cocoon like state for a while. I should make sure Julki is finished and Toma, Fontana and Neasa know I'll be away for a while."

It was almost dawn and Lovo decided to do some light reading.

He wanted to learn more about that Gods and Goddeses and the Demon Kings of this world. As soon as he opened the book he couldn't read anything.

"Huh? What the hell. I can read those other books."

He started to flip through the pages. A screen popped up in the corner of his eye.

[Forbidden Dark Speech: 2%]

"Oh. I forgot about you. Guess that book I first grabbed was from this shelf. I'll just flip through another book or two."

After placing that book down he flipped through another. Nothing popped up. He grabbed another and nothing. He went through an addition book before the screen popped up again.

[Forbidden Dark Speech 3%]

"Shouldn't this be easier the more I read? Or is this a super rare language? Oh well."

Lovo decided to go back and check on Julki.

He still had another 12 hours or so left for his evolution.

"Well everyone might be wake up soon. I'll just walk around and keep watch for the rest of the night."

Lovo left the castle and let the goblin who was on guard to back to sleep. He would take over watch till dawn.

Time went by fast for him. He would stand in the shade as the sun rose. Thankfully Gega was the first to wake for morning watch shift. She needed up joining Lovo along the walls. The two talked briefly about nothing important till everyone else woke up.

Sheva and Kelagar were the first to wake up. They wanted to leave by first like and get to Oswik by the next day. That thanked Lovo for his hospitality and for not eating them. Lovo just laughed and said he would love to have them back for dinner.

With that the two headed off back to Oswik.

Lovo started to like how things were turning out.
