Fenrir

Natasha and Raizen soon reached the airport. Even though Natasha was still shocked, she maintained a calm facade.

After waiting for a bit, they boarded their plane and left for Zone 7. Raizen had already travelled in aeroplanes before. But planes nowadays are more advanced and fast.

Within just an hour or two, they reached Zone 7. They got off the plane and left the airport. Raizen could see that the architecture and culture still maintained a semblance of the old era.

As Raizen was sightseeing, he spread his senses at the same time to search for Fenrir. Natasha quietly followed Raizen, since she didn't know what he was looking for.

Even though she appeared calm, her emotions were going through great turmoil. She was in a state of awe, fear, confusion, terror and excitement.

'I want to immediately log into Reverie and let off some steam, only then can I calm down' she thought as she quietly followed Raizen.

"There" Raizen suddenly shouted as he grabbed Natasha's arm. Quickly they disappeared from their spot and merged into the shadows.

A man who saw this scene immediately started shouting

"T…they disappeared. They disappeared into the shadows"

People on the streets looked at the man weirdly.

"I s..swear. They were just standing here when they suddenly disappeared" he said frantically.

"Sigh, drinking so early in the morning" the people muttered as they ignored him and went on with their work.

"W…whaaat?" Natasha shouted in disbelief as suddenly her surroundings were distorted. After momentary darkness, she was suddenly in another location.

She was inside an unknown cave. Everything around her was dark. Even the sunlight didn't reach this unknown cave. Just as she was beginning to panic, she heard Raizen's voice.

"He's here"

'What? That mysterious person is here? In this unknown and dark cave?' Natasha thought with disbelief. There was a huge frown on her face.

'Maybe all supernatural creatures are bizarre?' she thought doubtfully.

Just as her thoughts were running wild, she suddenly heard someone running towards them. She immediately used the torchlight feature on her quantum watch.

Before she could make out anything. A huge shadowy figure leapt onto Raizen.

"Care…" before she could warn him, the figure crashed onto Raizen and pushed him down.

'So fast' Natasha thought as she turned the flashlight towards Raizen.

"Hoowwwl" she suddenly heard a loud howl. Unconsciously she stepped back and tripped on a rock and fell down.

"Ouch" she muttered in pain. At that time, she heard Raizen's surprised voice

"Fenrir! Is that you?" Raizen asked doubtfully because the last he saw Fenrir, he was as big as a mountain. Because of this lived alone in some remote areas and only interacted with Raizen.

"Yes master, it's me" Fenrir answered happily. How long has it been since he last law his master? It's almost 200 years.

Fenrir suddenly sensed an external presence near him. He missed to notice it earlier since he was in the joy of reuniting with his master.

He immediately bared his fangs and growled at Natasha. Natasha felt goosebumps all around her body.

Even though she has met several dangerous existences in Reverie and felt fear, this one was just too real. There are no respawns if she dies now.

She once again felt the helplessness when she was kidnapped and almost assassinated.

"Fenrir" Raizen called out to Fenrir in a calm tone.

"It's okay, she is with me" Raizen calmed down the wary Fenrir. Fenrir reluctantly withdrew his gaze from Natasha and looked toward Raizen.

Natasha was visibly relieved after Fenrir withdrew his gaze. She breathed loudly and got up. She patted the dust off her dress and looked at Raizen and Fenrir.

"So, how did you get so small?" Raizen asked. A huge smile appeared on Fenrir's face.

"I learned how to reduce my size. Now I can change my size however I want" he said in a proud voice.

"Oh, it's not much" Raizen said with a smirk. Fenrir just snorted and averted his gaze away from Raizen. Natasha just looked at this scene with awe and doubt.

A wolf that can change its size and live for hundreds of years. What sort of existence was this? She suddenly had enlightenment as she asked in an excited tone

"Are you a Werewolf?"

Both Raizen and Fenrir looked at her weirdly. Natasha suddenly became very embarrassed after seeing their looks.

"Why would I be a Werewolf, woman?" Fenrir asked as he looked at Natasha while looking at a stupid creature.

"Ahm..m" Natasha coughed in embarrassment as her cheeks reddened a bit.

"Fenrir is just a wolf" Raizen said with a laugh.

"I am not just a wolf, I am the high and mighty Fenrir" Fenrir said in a loud voice. Raizen just laughed at his antics while Natasha was confused.

'It seems she really hasn't heard of the name Fenrir' Raizen thought after seeing Natasha's confused expression.

After talking with Fenrir for a while, the group left the dark cave. Only now did Natasha see Fenrir's true appearance.

His skin colour was a glistening grey. It was not like those normal grey wolves in Reverie. This grey seemed abnormal and majestic.

There were many symbols on him that made him even more mysterious. Particularly the symbol on his forehead seemed more mysterious and ominous.

He had cold gold eyes that were both vicious and innocent at the same time. His sharp canines glistened in the sunlight. Overall he totally did not look like a normal wolf.

Raizen also noticed this and asked Fenrir

"Can't you be more…normal? Can you hide all those runes on you?"

Fenrir just snorted and a small glow covered his body. All the runes on his body mysteriously vanished except the symbol on his forehead.

"I can't hide it" he said in an embarrassed tone.

"Devour, it's your curse ah?" Raizen said as he ruffled Fenrir. He carried Fenrir as he asked Natasha

"Can we return?"

"Was it… magic?" Natasha asked, completely ignoring Raizen's question.
