Broken heart

Minato raised his head and looked at the situation in the room 'It doesn't matter why you are doing this. If this is how you want to play it you leave me no choice, since you are afraid of losing your kingdom, I will make it happen'

Minato cleared his throat which made everyone shut up and look at him. When they looked at him they saw that Minato was in a very bad mood, clearly Minato was much angrier than they were about what had happened.

"That's all for today, the meeting is over. Go get some rest because tomorrow will be a long day" Minato said.

Everyone present wanted to discuss what had happened, but seeing Minato's expression they fell silent and left quietly

Fugaku and Hiashi were also going to leave, but Minato stopped them "Tomorrow meeting in my secret room" Said Minato in a low voice only for them both to hear.

Fugaku and Hiashi nodded and walked out leaving Minato alone in the meeting room, but suddenly Minato disappeared

Uzumaki Complex

Minato appeared at the door of his house in Uzumaki Complex, he could have teleported inside, but he likes to enter home like a normal person.

Minato who had an angry expression sighed and put a smile on his face "I'm home already" He said as he entered. There was no one awake or was that what he thought, when he passed through the living room he found Kushina who was waiting awake for him

"Welcome home dear" Kushina said with a smile.

Minato seeing his wife and seeing her smile instantly cheered up. How could he be in a bad mood having the most beautiful woman in the world as his wife, Minato thought.

Kushina got up from the couch and went to hug him, today had also been a hard day for her, at the same time she was happy for killing one of the main culprits for the destruction of her clan, she was also sad for everything that had happened to her son. Naruto had killed a person at the age of three, that will be a big mental blow to him and being his mother she felt guilty for not being able to protect him.

"How is Naruto, honey?" Minato asked as they hugged.

"Naruto is sleeping in his room, the doctor said he was fine and allowed us to come home. Although the biggest problem will be his head, Naruto is depressed and barely talking, when we got home he went straight to his room" Kushina said worriedly.

Minato hugged her tighter and said "Calm down dear he will get better, it's normal for him to be like this, the abnormal thing would be if he didn't feel anything when killing for the first time. I still remember the first person I killed and I remember everything I felt that day."

"I know, but you killed for the first time when you were about ten years old, Naruto is only three years old and he's not ready for this lifestyle, he hasn't even started the academy yet. I'm worried that he won't be able to handle it" Kushina said worriedly.

"I'm sure he can get through it, trust him, Naruto is our son and I know he can handle it" Said Minato

Kushina sighed, she knew her son was strong and could get through it. She looked at her husband and said "So how did the meeting go?"

Minato's expression soured and he started to tell her everything that had happened at the meeting

Kushina was angered by the Daimyo's attitude and was worried when she found out that they had discovered the reconstruction of the whirlpool country.

"That old man is going to find out if he thinks he can threaten us and have nothing happen to him" Kushina said angrily. "What are we going to do now?" asked Kushina.

Minato looked at her and smiled "We will do what he fears the most" Minato said with a sinister smile.

Kushina drooled seeing Minato's face with that smile. She grabbed him and said "Come on dear, let's go take a bath because today you will release my accumulated stress" Kushina said as she dragged him to the bathroom

Tonight is going to be a long night for Minato

Konoha Hospital - rooftop

Tsunade stood on the rooftop of the Hospital drinking a glass of sake while admiring the view of the village. Today had been a long day for her, but she was relieved to finally finish her revenge. It was as if she had been relieved of a great weight weighing on her shoulders and could finally think clearly.

Suddenly beside her appeared a tall man with long white hair who stood next to her.

Tsunade didn't even look at him and said, "What do you want Jiraiya?" said Tsunade sharply.

Jiraiya felt hurt by his friend's tone "I came to talk to my old teammate and to thank you for saving Sensei."

"You don't have to thank me at all, he is also my Sensei and as a doctor it is my duty to save the wounded even if they are horrible people" Tsunade said as she sipped her sake

Jiraiya sighed as he heard her say that Hiruzen was a horrible person, although he couldn't deny that because of him many horrible things had happened

"How is Sensei, did you manage to create an antidote?" Jiraiya asked.

"I couldn't create an antidote, so I had to remove the poison from his body using my chakra. He will live, but his chakra system has been damaged, although he will still be able to use chakra he won't be as proficient as before" Said Tsunade

Jiraiya was saddened to hear that Hiruzen probably won't be as strong as before. A man he had always admired now might not even be a shadow of what he once was.

Jiraiya looked at Tsunade who was leaning on the railing admiring the view and sipping her sake. No matter how much time had passed Tsunade was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life.

"What will you do from now on?" Jiraiya asked.

Tsunade looked at him and asked "What do you mean?"

"I mean what will you do from now on after you have killed Danzo and completed your revenge" Jiraiya asked.

Tsunade looked at the city again and was silent thinking about what she would do from now on. After a few moments she answered "I don't know, I'll probably continue as the head of the hospital and take care of my family" Tsunade said

"Just that, nothing else?" Jiraiya asked

Tsunade looked at him again and asked "What do you mean just that, don't you think it's a good life to take care of my family?"

"Come on Hime, you're still young and beautiful, don't you have any other ambitions? Like opening up to new experiences, finding love and having children" Jiraiya said.

Tsunade instantly became serious, she knew what Jiraiya was referring to. She knew he liked her, but she didn't feel anything for him. Even when she once thought about giving him a chance while drunk seeing his perverted attitude made her change her mind. Besides, she knew she would never be able to get over what had happened with Dan, no one knew that, but the day she found out about Dan's death was the day she had a miscarriage due to shock. That day she was happy to find out she was pregnant and couldn't wait for Dan to come back, but that never happened, in one day she had lost the love of her life and the baby she had already begun to love. She had never told anyone and would never tell anyone. When Jiraiya said that it reminded her of something she's never been able to get over

"Don't start Jiraiya, we already had that discussion. You and I will never be together as a couple understand that already" Tsunade said angrily as she remembered her past traumas.

Jiraiya's heart began to ache as he heard Tsunade's words, she had always been his platonic love and he had confessed his feelings to her several times and had always been rejected, but this time he thought it would be different now that Tsunade had avenged his family and she had no more worries about the future, he thought he could finally have a chance.

"Why not, am I not good enough for you? Even after all the things I did for you all these years? Do you know how much I sacrificed for you? How many sleepless nights I spent wondering if you were okay? How much money I spent paying off your debts? Am I really not good enough for you?" said Jiraiya as tears fell from his eyes.

Tsunade got angry when she heard his words "So you did all that so you could sleep with me? I thought you did it because you were my friend, but I see I was wrong. Understand this once and for all Jiraiya, you and I will never be anything but friends. And I'm even thinking about considering you a friend since everything you did for me you did with second intentions. I hope you understand and that you find a good woman to fulfill your dreams," Tsunade said as she turned and walked towards the rooftop door.

Jiraiya watched her go and wanted to stop her, but he couldn't. He knew he had ended any chance he could have had with Tsunade.

Jiraiya stayed on the rooftop crying for his unrequited love.

(Don't be so sad for our Jiraiya. He will be very happy in the future)

Poor Jiraiya, it hurt me to do this to him, but this is all for his good. I don't think Tsunade and Jiraiya will combine as a couple, it's just like with Naruto and Sakura, they always treated them like crap.

Jiraiya has a good future with a beautiful woman with red hair :)

I know some people who want Jiraiya and Tsunade to be together won't like this chapter, but I think they've always been just friends. Tsunade and Jiraiya have a good future in this story...or not.
