Preparations

As he was preparing to go to the Goblin's dungeon, Jake thought about what he would need to do to win against a stronger than him. He needed skill obviously, but good equipment would make a world's difference. Having this line of thought, he decided to head toward the village's shop where one could find all the equipment needed.

Arriving at the shop, he started looking around to see what he could buy with the low budget of 40 copper. Well… he could only buy the common grade weapons.

'I should probably get the dagger since I'm an assassin now, but the sword was the weapon I used for years.' thought Jake, unable to make a choice

After thinking about it, there was obviously benefits in both options, but Jake decided to prepare for the future that had yet manifested.

He chose the dagger since it would be the main weapon he would use in this life, and he needed to practice with it to get good with it and he thought it would be a good opportunity to use it.

'What better way to practice than realistic battles' thought Jake

As he picked up the dagger, he decided to inspect it to see the stats he would gain from this purchase.

[Common dagger]

+3 STR(Strength)

+1 AGL(Agility)

'It's not great but it's a common weapon. I guess that is to be expected' thought Jake

Deciding to purchase it, he went to the counter of the shop to buy it.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" asked the seller

"I would like to buy this dagger please" responded Jake

"Alright, it will cost 40 copper."

'Uh-oh, that's all I have. Well, it's not like I have a choice' he thought

"There you go" Jake responded

Leaving the shop, he decided to equip the dagger and the starter's armor which you received when you entered the game at the start.

This equipment wasn't what Jake was used to. He didn't have the godly armor and sword from before. All he all had was a common dagger and the starter's armor which was different to say the least.

'Status' thought Jake

Seeing his status, he was feeling quite satisfied since he already reached 10 agility even without adding his ATP gained by the training.

The starter's armor gave him 75 heath and one agility which wasn't greay, but he didn't pay anything for it, so what did he expect.

Feeling ready, he started heading towards the Goblin's dungeon where he could finish the quest.

With all the shopping he did, and the time limit imposed by the training hall master, he had only 10 hours left to complete the quest. It looked like a long time but just going to the dungeon would take at least 2 hours without counting the monsters he would be encountering.

Therefore, he had only 6 hours to clear the dungeon alone and get the reward from Oliver.

Leaving the village and entering the western forest, Jake started his long walk towards the dungeon.

'The only monsters I can encounter are wolves and goblins which can be considered weak alone but strong in a group' thought Jake

As he was thinking that, he noticed a lone wolf without anyone near him. It looked like a chance given to him by the heavens and he decides to take it without any hesitation.

He dashed at wolf while activating his skill [Stealth] which made him undetectable. Jake decided to aim for the weak point which would be discovered in the future, the neck. With a swift attack with his [Common Dagger] aimed at the neck of the wolf.

[Critical Attack]

-200 HP

[Wolf Killed]

+20 EXP

He killed the wolf in a single move without a once of hesitation. However, Jake knew that this would probably never happen again since lone wolves were a rarity in the entire game, he just got lucky to find one as its first enemy.

Continuing on his path, Jake tried his hardest not to be noticed by groups of goblins and wolves. He was jumping from the branches of the trees since he knew they couldn't fly and were stuck on the ground.

This strategy could only be used since he was a veteran of the game and had complete control over his character. If others tried the same thing, they would probably fall headfirst on the ground.

While travelling, Jake saw a couple of lone wolves and goblins which he killed. Those he managed to kill were able to give him a total of 300 Exp which was considerable considering he didn't try to hunt monsters.

Eventually, Jake arrived in front of the dungeon which was bustling with different types of people which for the last 3 days leveled up.

Some groups of people were recruiting people in their party but they had restrictions. For example, a group of players were asking as a requirement for joining to be at least level 5 with a minimum of 40 ATP.

Those groups didn't know that because of those conditions they missed the chance of a lifetime since being with Jake was basically learning strategies from the future.

Jake ignoring all the groups recruiting players decided to head straight to the dungeon.

[Goblin's Dungeon]

-Minimum of 2 players

-Maximum of 4 players

'What? I can't do this alone. But I'm sure it could be cleared solo before.' Thought Jake, finding this strange.

'Well, I have no choice, I need to find a party member and fast'

Trying to find a party member, Jake made a sign which was written on it:

I will carry you, there are no restrictions.

Finding this strange, players started coming around Jake making fun of him

"Look! A level one saying he will carry us. Ahahaha Impossible" said one of them

"He probably doesn't know how hard this dungeon is" said another one

"I don't care what you guys say. Is there anyone who would agree to form a party with me" shouted Jake, trying to get attention.

Unfortunately for him, nobody was interested in having a sure death inside a dungeon.

15 minutes after putting up the sign, no one came to him anymore.

But all of a sudden, one girl started advancing towards him which attracted the attention of everyone around.

"Hello, can I join your group?" muttered the girl

"Yes, of course" responded Jake, finally finding someone

"Th-thank you" responded the girl trying to speak louder

[Jake has invited you to his party]

"I invited you"

[Sweet Angel 93 has accepted your request]

"Ahaha, nice name" said Jake, laughing

"…"
