Selfish and love

Lucas was very concerned about Alyuura's safety and Alyuura was also very concerned about Lucas' safety. Wasn't Lucas also selfish to let Alyuura go alone without him?

 "I can't! Lucas, I don't want to leave you no matter what. I'd rather get hurt, die, and disappear from this world---"

 "Don't argue! Your rebuttals will only slow us down! If you don't want those in there to die in vain, then follow my words!" cried Lucas. Didn't mean to yell at Alyuura. He didn't yell at Alyuura but forced Alyuura to agree with him.

 Lucas and Alyuura are now sneaking up on the secret underground room where the werewolves are kept. They were both flabbergasted when they saw how crowded the dungeon was.

 The vampires, werewolves, and humans who were Lucas' servants were kept there. The screams of fear, the pitiful cries, and the moans that showed the anger of Lucas' subordinates to the vampires had already shown that Alyuura and Lucas' guess was correct.
