Cat and Mouse Duet

I didn't know what had happened to Howard until lunch break.

A group of people was whispering with each other while eating.

"Why doesn't Mr. Crawford wear glasses?"

"Well, I also found it."

They had a heated discussion.

I didn't realize it until now.

Howard used to always wear a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, which made him look very elegant, but when he was serious, he looked a little sharp. People avoided him because he appeared aloof and distant.

Howard had a high nose and long eyelashes, and his slanted eyes were particularly seductive. He looked better without his glasses.

"I heard he had laser eye surgery over the holidays."

The colleagues whispered to each other.

I suddenly remembered what had happened in the hot spring again.

I must have cast a shadow on Howard.

"Rebecca, your face is red. Are you okay?"

I lost my appetite instantly. After thinking for a while, I thought I should apologize to Howard.
