Unknown Future

As the towering trees thinned around Aetherion, he felt the familiar embrace of the air beckoning him forward. With each stride, the rhythm of his footsteps solidified, grasping control over his body. A testament to his talent and profound powers that fuels his very core.

Emerging from the dense forest, Aetherion paused at the forest's edge, his gaze sweeping over the sprawling expanse before him. Mountain peaks high above the sky in the distance, reaching the heavens, their majestic forms cloaked in a veil of white clouds and mist that whispered secrets of the mystical continent.

Aetherion's breath caught in his throat as his gazed went across the vastness of the wilderness stretched out before him. Aetherion felt a surge of exhilaration course through him.

Not long after Aetherion emerged from the forest, a loud explosion resounded through the lands.

Aetherion looked at the distant and covered his face as the wind from the shockwave traveled at a extreme speed, pushing him back quite a bit even with his current level of strength.

Aetherion backed a way and ran the other way, deciding not to be involve with them.

In the distant, two beings were fighting. A warrior and a magician, attacking each other with full intent of killing.

"Magnus! Stop dodging like a damn monkey!" The warrior yelled out swinging his broadsword in all directions, decimating the area around him.

"No can do Thane. Even after years of challenging me, you'll never reach my level. You'll only stay an ant like the others." Magnus responded back coldly, enraging Thane even further.

"THOUSAND DIVERGENT SLASH!" Thane struck forward, unleashing a devastating attack that sent sword slash throughout the area in a 360 degree leaving Magnus with no room to dodge.

Magnus was surprised by Thane burst of attack but quickly recovered and casted a protective shield, "Tier Five Spell: Call Of Guardianship." A ghastly figure of a golem appeared behind Magnus, covering him with its giant arm with hexagonic shield covering him, along with the incoming attack being blocked by his spell.

'Damnit…! No matter what I do nothing is getting past him.' Thane thought as he watched his attack being blocked by his foe spell.

'Wait! Hahaha, that's right I have that move!' Thane smile grew wide as his eye shined with a red glint. He tightened his grip on his weapon and prepared for his strike.

Thane roared out and swung his boardsword down, cleaving the earth as the magician dodged. Thane got ticked off and angrily yelled out, "YOU ANNOYING COCKAROCH! WHY WONT YOU DIE!"

"Pftt, nothing but a brute, if you think you're able to defeat me by swinging and yelling. You're Delusional" Magnus retorted back, mocking the man as he casted his magic.

"Damn you…! I WILL KILL YOU MAGNUS!" Thane roared, holding his boardsword and pouring his energy into his sword, using his new sword technique.

Magnus mouth perked up, similing. "Well, seems I have really pushed you over the age haven't I? Thane. Seems I have to get a little more serious."

At that moment, both casted a extremely powerful attack as they simultaneously yelled out there attack. "Explosive Impact!" "Tier Six Spell: Nova Burst!"

As the two force clashed, the impact caused a huge explosion, a huge blast engulfing the area around them causing great collateral damage. The explosion sweeped both of them. Sending them flying in different directions.

After the aftermath, the area began to calm down. Expect for the massive hole of about ten miles wide and dept of over eight miles. The damage was done and left nothing but a scorching mess.

Meanwhile, back to Aetherion. Though he ran away quickly, he still felt the scorching heat of the battle. Being over 23 miles away and still feeling the immense power, he knew he still was weak. Igniting his spirit as he ignored the aftermath that happen and started running to the nearest city.

In the distant, a lurking creature where Aetherion once lived in watched all the thing that had happened. It gazed at Artherion for a moment before closing its eyes and returning to its slumber.

The many beings noticed the gaze of the creature even if it had only been focused on Aetherion. The many being of the forest trembled at that entity might, its presence alone woke up all the inhabitants of the forest.

Although not for long, it alarmed the entire region. Making the species that lived there call upon each other and gathered for a meeting.

Mystic Heart Forest

In the northern part of the forest, where Aetherion once lived, a meeting held by a myriad of race leaders took place.

The meeting room was held in the inner parts of the forest, giant trees and plants surrounding the site. Along with a huge castle standing there. The structure was a sight to behold as inside the building, across the hall ways and stairs was the meeting room.

The room was grand and majestic, befitting of the importance of gatherings that take place within its confines.

In the centerpiece of the room stood a round table crafted from pure magic crystals and other unknown materials, above the table was of enchanted crystals suspended from the ceiling. The table had carvings from the middle to edges, depicting scenes of ancient battles and noble deeds, with runes etched into its surface pulsing with a faint, otherworldly feeling.

Surrounding the table were Six high-backed chairs with various sizes, each embedded with the sigils of the various races represented at the meetings. Along the walls were windows, made from the wood of high grade materials and craftsmanship. Runes carved into it, making it seem otherworldly and inviting.

The floor beneath were filled with marble tiles, polished to a smooth state that reflects the light from the chandeliers above. Across the table stood a magnificent throne, crafted from the horns of an ancient dragon and clad with jewels of unknown origins. This seat of power commands respect and reverence, symbolizing the authority of the being who sat there.

As leaders from different races entered the room, one by one they sat down in their own individual seats. Each seat representing A Elf, Orc, Dwarf, Giant, Fairy, Human, and the seat for the highest order which didn't appear.

Only four out of the seven came which were the Elf King, Orc King, Giant Lord, and Fairy Queen. The three missing was the human emperor, dwarf king, and the supreme lord.

The first one to speak up was Varinath Falteeker the Elf King. A man with a robust build, emerald eyes, silver hair, and a kingly aura. Clad in a green robe with gold coloring, along with royalty attire.

"I think everyone should understand why we're having a meeting today…" Varinath stood up and placed his hands on the table while looking at them all.

Next to speak up was Grunt, as he put his legs on the table crossed, not respecting the rest of the others. His figure towering over all the other expect the Giant standing at twelve feet tall. With broad shoulders and ripped muscles, his green skin filed with scars from countless battles. Wearing a suit of armor made from Crystalline Elements, along with a necklace of teeth's and bone around his neck woth the symbol of his race.

"Oh? And what is this meeting about? I had better things do to than chat if that's the whole point of the meeting." Grunt replied to the Elf, not having him any face, acting nonchalant as usual. Scanning the room with a mix of boredom and disdain.

"Silence you fool, you're still as stupid and ugly as ever, an uneducated swan" The Fairy Queen, also known as Elara Frostbloom. Her slender figure capable of attracting anyone who sees her, along with her blue crystal eyes and cyan hair. Although a fairy, she wasn't as small as rumors suggest.

"That's enough you two, we are here not to argue but seek answer on why the great being awakened. Even if it is only a couple seconds." Ragnar Akron said, quelling the bickering of the two sides. Ragnar the Giant Lord and a top powerhouse of the Mystic Continent. Standing at ten meters due to shrinking himself and his imposing golden eyes. His robust figure and divine physique were a sight. Looking at the Orc and Fairy that went silent.

"Where's that Dwarf at? This is an important meeting, why isn't that old man here. The human is reasonable but that man" Varinath looked around but couldn't see them even though this meeting was important.

"His tribe has contacted me about his situation. that Dwarf isn't able to come since he's forging a new divine weapon" Elara replied, adding in the word divine as the ears of the orc perked up.

"Zahahaha! What kind of weapon is he forging. I haven't heard of another forger crafting a divine weapon since the last era 370 thousand years ago!" Grunt eye shined, growing excited at the thought of seeing another divine weapon. But before he could continue, Ragnar silenced him.

"We aren't here to talk about those matter but about the God of the forest awakening. It has been over a hundred million years since it has last awakened. Each awakening holds significance values to the outcome of this world…" Ragnar spoke slowly, making sure they all understood what was going on. Making them all realize the importance of this meeting.

"Who's this God of this forest? I have never heard about it before!" Grunt spoke loudly as ever, clueless of what Ragnar is talking about.

"That's right. I have never heard of this forest having a lord." Elara replied, looking at Varinath and Ragnar.

"I only heard tales of the lord of the forest in my race history and inheritance. Ragnar should know more since he's one of the oldest to ever exist. Care to explain to us?" He looked at Ragnar and awaited his answer, along with the other two joining in.

Ragnar went silent for a moment before speaking out. "The Lord Of The Forest, known as Nhifoghr is an ancient dragon that has existed for many eras and eons. A deity one can say, each time it awakens, A great change will occur. The last time it arose from its slumber… the world that once only had one large continent divided into four."

"Even if I have lived for millions of years, I too have only little information on it. I know most of these information from the history of my race. You should also know but as you two dislike dwelling in knowledge, you are unaware of it until now."

"Ohhh…. No wonder this forest is soo peaceful, even with countless race residing here. There aren't many if not any chaos in this forest." Grunt was amazed at this realization, awed by the forest god power and influence.

"Then what shall we do then? You say a major chance will occur when he awakens, and considering how large of an event the previous one caused what can we do?." Elara replied to Ragnar, unsure what to do.

"Just prepare for the worst… it could be an invasion… a collision…. or something else… there are too many unknowns variable therefore we just prepare for the worse." Ragnar shared his answer and then stood up from his seats, looking at them before leaving the meeting room.

The others looked at each other and then nodded, also leaving and preparing for what is to come.
