"My lord, your precious cape," his personal aide handed the folded cape nearly to the Crown Prince.

He knew that it'll hurt to ask but he still did it anyway, "Did she even hold it for that bit?"

Wearing his cape was akin to wielding his power around. She could have walked into the royal treasury and wiped everything clean.

His personal aide looked up and paused uncertainly. Vance frowned and sighed, "The truth."

"She stepped on it and had a look of disgust as she exited the library," Sonny, his other personal aide volunteered the information without tact. Sunne glanced at his brother and nudged him.

"Oof! What! He said to tell the truth!" Sonny protested and Sunne sighed as he glanced at Vance who had turned pale.

He tore the cape furiously. Both brothers looked stunned now as they had never seen Vance this mad. Vance gripped his palms tightly till it bled.

"If I can't have her liking me, then I'll settle for the second best, I'll make her hate me then," Vance uttered in a soft and dangerous tone.

Scarlet sneezed loudly. Was someone talking about her?

She rubbed her arms and Lei titled her head, "Please take care of yourself! The wedding's tomorrow! And why would we need to change the dress? Wasn't the backless and sleeveless one amazing?"

Scarlet sighed as she rubbed her temples. "You'll have to thank your brother for That," she uttered in a chilly manner.

"Did he dictate that all girls should only wear covered clothings now? Given how much of a prude he is, I think he may actually come up with such a rule!" Lei came up with a possibility and agreed with her own deductions.

"I wish he could fall under the same line as prude," Scarlet commented as she thought about the blindfold moment. What was he thinking?

Evidently not with his upper head, she grumbled in her head.

"Well, I think you rest well tonight, everything will be changed tomorrow, you'll be a different person all right!" Lei said as she hurried Scarlet to fall asleep.

She tucked Scarlet into bed and said, "Sweet dreams, you'll wake up a changed lady!"
