My mouth felt bitter as his words directed themselves at me.

“Mason,”?I growled, not in the mood for games.

Flanking him was Matthew, Z-Zanthus?-Is that how you say it?-and Victor.

His three friends lagged behind Mason and although Victor looked to be bored, Matthew and Zanthus each had grins on their faces.

The grins weren't at all that evil, they just looked excited.

Mason's smile however? That was dangerous.

“Well, you found me. What's your point?”

Mason tsked. He actually, tsked.

“Look, we mean no trouble.” Kale's voice was stern but it was wavering. There was only two of us against the most powerful people in school.
