“Okay,?this. This is amazing.” I could try to deny it but it would be a lie. There was no need to lie. Besides, Hailey was right.

Again.

“I told you, you would love it.” She grins brightly, holding out a couple bills to the man who had given us two ice cream cones.

I took the vanilla while she ate the chocolate. “Oh my god, this is good...” The moan that came out of my mouth was purely unintentional as I swallowed down the ice cream.

People passing by gave me scandalized looks but I simply rolled my eyes.

Never ate an ice cream before?

Hailey grasp my forearm and began to lead me down the never ending street.

“Come on Ness, I spotted a dress the other day that I know you'll love!”

At least someone was enthusiastic. Birthdays don't really faze me when it comes.
