41 The bad and unlike one

Two months ago, Maven the son of Governor Wilfred and Varun a member of the same political party as Governor Wilfred, meets up before the open meeting with the governor and King Daniel to speak on how they are going to take the entire kingdom from under their noses well the war is going on.

They both hold a private meeting two days before the meeting. Varun said,

"I have given it much through and I say we should attack kill King Daniel before or after the meeting so it will be easy face his nephew King Henry in battle." "what do you think about it?"

"in reply, Maven said, what makes you think that will work?" "When you kill king Daniel too soon, their nephew will move right in and claim the glory, and the people of Zoom will be in support of King Henry. and together they will wipe and destroy Holk City. so you better take that through off your mind for now."

"Varun response by saying, that's true, why didn't I think of that."

He spoke further by asking Maven, "What do your father think or say about this plan?"

"in answer Maven said, he thought it best and he believes we should execute our plan in killing the two Kings in the battlefields to afford any suspicion."

"Varun said again, and what do you think about it?"

"Maven answered him by asking, For once I am in support of his idea. because if things get out of hand the entire kingdom will be at our doorstep and believe me, that won't be good for us in any way."

"Varun said, but still, things won't be that easy in killing two Kings in one battle you know." "'because if there happen to be a mistake and one happens to survive, the entire forces of both kings will come together against us. we must be smart about what we are about to do."

Maven replied by saying, "I know, that is why we need someone from the other side to be our allies in this plan of ours. and I have my eyes on someone but I do not want to approach him now, I will let time take his cause."

"Varun asked, who do you have in mind?"

"in reply Maven said, I can't tell, for now when the plan is in motion I will let you know."

"Okay, all his been said and I think is I'll time we go our separate homes to avoid suspicion. said Varun."

They both shake hands again, before leaving the tent of meeting, Varun left for home to join his family for dinner, while Maven left to see his father's wife named Abigail.

Abigail is a girl who was brought up by are anti-Julianne. When she was still a young girl, she and Maven happened to be in the same contest of killing a Bull in one of the most dangerous sports the governor at that time organized. Maven saved the life of Abigail twice in that same sport but she never acknowledge what he did. instead, she saw what he did as a means to win the crowd and the heart of the governor and that of his entire family that was watching.

So she pushed Maven down the pit where the Bull will be able to kill him, and when the Bull was making a chase to kill Maven, she shot an arrow that went directly to the heart of the Bull. The Bull was still on the chase to kill Maven, and when it was a few niches close to killing Maven, she shot two arrows at the same time which pierced the two fourth legs causing him to collapse on top of Maven.

The Bull died due to a broken nack and an arrow through his heart, but unfortunately, Maven ended up having a broken leg which made him spend thirteen months in the hospital.

Eleven years later, Mr.Wilfred the father of Maven won the elections and was chosen to be the Governor of Holk city. During his party at his home, he brought Abigail up on the stages and told everyone present that this is his fiancee and that he would like her to be his wife.

Maven lost his mom three years ago before his father came across Abigail, but he never knew it was the same Abigail that broke his son's leg eleven years ago. Nor is he making moves so Maven will be offended.

That evening, Maven was so angry at his father but when he saw how beautiful and cute Abigail turned out to be, and he cut to realize that his father never knew it was the same Abigail he forgave his father. but still really angry at Abigail.

Abigail tried all she could to make Maven happy until she ended up falling in love with him and Maven as well.

They both continued their affair whenever Governor Wilfred lives for a business trip over the kingdom.

Everyone in the house in which they all live knows about what was going on except the governor. From the guards to the servants all know about it.

Meanwhile, Varun who is a member of the same political party as the Governor is also ahead of a massive cartel that dominates the streets of Holk, and Zoom city. The cartel is called 'the mud men.'

"The mud men, are in charge of all the illegal shipments moving in and out of the city. They are also involved in Street gambling, pit fights, robbery, rapping, and selling of harmful illegal

drugs."

Varun is widely known to be a dangerous man with the reputation of killing anyone who seems to offend him, no matter the status.

"He was the one responsible for the deaths of ex-governor Pearl and her husband when she refused to leave the site even when her tenure was overdue."

"He was also responsible for the bombing that took place in Moon city before the arrival of Prince Cravter and his entire kingdom. King Daniel gave the order, but it was Varun and the mud men' that carried it out."

Varun is a man with a bad reputation but he never let his bad w of life affect his family. he makes sure his kids are well taken care of, and well trained away from any bad association. He never leaves home with checking his kids and wishes them well with a kiss. He also makes sure he comes home early so they could have supper together.
