Progress of Red Bull (1)

"I am not inhuman Dennis, so I will gladly give you a little support. By April 5th I will receive three new assistants I personally recruited. One of them by the name of John Chambers will mainly be responsible for my communication with Atari in the future, because I won't be able to be here all the time. You can just look at him as one additional ear of mine.

Additionally, he will be able to help you with creating the new toy company. Just see it as proper exercise for him."

Both of his subordinates were very curious about the people that Simon personally selected and was going to train by themselves, but right now they were mostly thinking on how to finish their jobs as quickly as possible and make sure Simon was satisfied. They already heard that many people in the industry, with way better CV and experience, were looking for their jobs. They trusted Simon and his loyalty towards the founding team, but only if their ability could keep up with Atari's progress.

When Simon left the Atari headquarters on Staten Island in the evening, he was finally relieved. At least in the next one or two months he didn't need to care all too much about Atari. Afterwards, he needed to take care of the newly acquired Los Angeles Lakers and the trial runs for Space Invaders.

For now, he could focus on Red Bull, whose business he didn't really care about for three months and setting up his secretary team. Furthermore, he needed to initiate Starbucks in the second half of the year and look for further investment opportunities. He wouldn't use all the money Atari was making on building new companies or developing technology. That would be a waste of resources and overwhelm him in a short time. A lot could be used to invest in companies that would be successful in the future and could run without him taking a single care.

Stepping into his apartment near Central Park he already noticed some lights in the kitchen area and Sarah's boots and jacket near the entrance. He was very happy that someone was already waiting for him at home. Hugging his girlfriend from behind, while she was busy in the kitchen with some Italian cuisine, he told her about his day at Atari. When Sarah learned about the new NBA Jam plan, she was very proud of her boyfriend and rewarded him with a long kiss.

Overall, she was extremely satisfied with how this relationship was going currently. Every night before falling asleep in the last few days she was thinking back to the morning four days ago, when large amounts of deliveries were continuously pouring into the estate of the Harrison family.

When her grandmother, mother, and some of her cousins were seeing the huge amount of super luxurious jewelry and watches they even showed some envy on their faces. It was simply exaggerated and never seen in New York. Even some neighbors, most of them of course women, were coming around and watching the spectacle. The male members of the family were feeling increasing pressure from their spouses while watching Sarah unpack and demonstrate her new belongings.

In the end she even offered some small buy very delicate and elegant pieces to her smaller cousins, who were already close to bursting into tears. For the next few days Sarah Harrison became the most well known and most envied young socialite of New York and even the entire East Coast. The little fairy tale of the nineteen-year-old New York fashionista was spreading at incredible speed and Simon Smith himself grew to be a dream lover in the eyes of most women.

On the bad side of things, this increased the pressure on Sarah herself and further stimulated her sense of urgency regarding her relationship with Simon. She realized that many women would try and snatch her spouse away from her in the future. In a world full of enticement Simon would hardly stay faithful to her until the end. But right now, everything was still perfect, and she simply had to fight for it to stay like this as long as possible. A good start was being more considerate of his career and his long and sometimes irregular working hours. She knew that Simon was a very homely person, that liked care and a relaxing atmosphere. Trying to create rules or forcing him to spend more time with her, would probably only have negative effects.

Overall, they spend a very relaxing and joyful evening together, without leaving Simon's apartment for a second. After showering and eating breakfast together in the morning, both went on their way together to further grow their career and studies. After dropping his girlfriend of at the front door of the NYU (New York University) and Sarah growing very shy being kissed in front of half of the students entering for morning lessons, he was making his way out of Manhattan and towards New Jersey, towards the production base and current headquarters of Red Bull.

During the last few months, he neglected Red Bull compared to Lamborghini and Atari, which resulted in him receiving many very disappointed and angry calls from his sister Caroline. Even bis brother Alexander and his parents already complained that he left all the responsibility to his sister without offering further support. When his older sister learned about his incoming visit today, she was very happy inside, but acted quite cold on the outside.

There was no large celebration after his motorcade arrived at the production base, only Caroline's assistant and secretary, Isabella Richardson, who welcomed them at the gate. Just like his sister her assistant was a student of Oxford and highly educated. She was currently being trained to fill a management position at Red Bull in the future. Isabella was quite intimidated by the mysterious brother of her good friend and current boss, but slowly relaxed after Simon proved to be quite calm and patient.

Walking through the large production base and towards the office of the CEO Simon recapped the development of Red Bull in his inner mind.
