Chapter 77

[Location: New York Institute] [3rd POV]

After hearing the words that escaped Talia's mouth, the entire group just looked to her in surprise. While Isabelle looked embarrassed.

"Are you trying to cheat on Hope with my sister?" Alec asked with a sc owl forming on his face. Magnus also narrowed his eyes at this, while Clary was silent.

"Hmm? Oh, no. Hope is okay with it. If she was awake, you could ask her" Talia said with a smile, trying to defuse the situation.

Blinking in surprise, Alec then turned to Isabelle "Is this true?"

"...It is. She said so a while ago" Isabelle said with pink softly dusting her cheeks. Embarrassed, but also excited at the prospect of finally going on a date with the woman she was probably in love with.

Alec looked to his sister in surprise, while Magnus raised an eyebrow. He had seen far weirder in his lifetime, but the fact that Isabelle was willing to get with Talia and basically share her with Hope, was surprising.

"So, do you wanna go on that date or not"

Isabelle blushed and nodded, causing Talia to grin happily "Let's meet at the front of the institute in...an hour? It'll be casual, nothing too fancy"

Isabelle hearing this, nodded before racing off. Talia chuckled as she saw the beaming smile that formed on Izzy's face as she ran off to get ready.

Turning, Talia was faced with a surprised Clary, and a narrowed eyed Alec "If you hurt her-" "You'll kill me, I know. And just so you know, I'd rather die than hurt anyone I care about. Especially Isabelle, Hope, and another" Talia cut him off, glancing at Clary as she said this.

Clary blushed, while Alec sighed and nodded. "Look, I can't say anything about your...relationship, but just please, don't ignore my sister, okay? She's completely in love with you, that much I know"

"Trust me, I'll treat her well" Talia replied with a small smile, before walking off, preparing to get ready on her own.

Time had passed, and Talia had gotten ready for the date. It was a bit of a different outfit than she usually wore, but she decided that she wanted to switch it up, now that she had a completely new form and all.

(Without the hat, purse or glasses)

Walking out of her room, she made her way to the front of the institute. When she finally got there, she was met with a rather...nice sight.

Isabelle in some rather tightly fitting clothing. Showing off her perfect, alluring figure. As well as a top that showed off quite a bit of her cleavage, that was larger than Talia was expecting. The part Talia enjoyed the most, was the way her jeans clung to her juicy and bubbly arse.

"Wow...you look amazing" Talia said, walking up to Isabelle. Isabelle turned and smiled at the sight of Talia, taking in Talia's clothing that showed off her ripped abs.

"You look amazing too!" Isabelle said, trying not to stare at Talia's abs, just as Talia was trying not to glance at her noticeable cleavage.

"So, where do you want to go first? I was planning on a movie, some food, even teleporting to another country or the moo-" "How about just a movie and eat? Talia, I don't need anything lavish or crazy, my life has enough of that. For now, I just want to see a good movie and have some good food" Isabelle said, cutting her off.

Hearing this, Talia smiled "Of course, love"

The movie was actually quite fun, for Talia at least. Who knew a Shadowhunter would be terrified of a horror movie like IT. But, it seems that Isabelle is. The movie was most fun because of the way Isabelle would keep snuggling into her whenever a scary scene showed up.

The movie was fun, and by the end of it, the two had been enjoying the date thoroughly. They continued the date by going and getting food at some French place.

Sitting across from Isabelle, Talia smiled at the sight of her.

"What?" Isabelle asked, noticing Talia was staring. A slight blush on her cheeks after noticing the staring.

"You just look really beautiful" Talia replied, a teasing smirk forming on her face.

Isabelle rolled her eyes fondly, her blush deepening.

"What's it like?" Isabelle asked abruptly.

"What?"

"What's using Magic like? I've seen you use it so many times, it's hard not to wonder" Isabelle reiterated.

Hearing this, Talia went silent for a few moments, before smiling and speaking "It's...amazing. It's almost like a part of myself that's been locked away was revealed. It's unlike any feeling in the world. Basically, it's the best" Talia finished with a chuckle.

"And...what about dying?" Isabelle asked, before adding "Sorry if that's too intrusive"

"No it's fine. It was...comforting. It's hard to explain, harder than magic. But dying isn't as freeing as magic, it's more...unexplainable? I can't really describe it to be honest" Talia said after some moments of thinking.

Death was unexplainable, even for Talia. It was one of those things that even the smartest of beings wouldn't understand. Only a select type of person would ever truly understand it, and those are the ones that quite literally are Death. Talia hoped to never meet them, that's for sure.

Isabelle went silent before nodding. It made sense, even Talia doesn't know everything, nor can she explain everything.

"And what about you? What's it feel like to use runes?" Talia asked. She could use them now,  even on herself, but she has yet to do so.

Isabelle smiled widely at this, more than happy to explain this part "Amazing. It's like this overwhelmingly comfortable warmth that fills every inch of the body. It's like being hugged by the sun. Especially after what happened at the Lake, it's like that warmth has been multiplied by a thousand"

"Hugged by a sun?" Talia chuckled at the explanation.

"Well it's the best way to explain it!" Isabelle exclaimed with a pout. Talia's laugh deepened at the reaction, with Isabelle soon joining her.

All the while, they enjoyed the French cuisine, and the welcoming hosts.

After leaving the French restaurant, the two walked side by side down the streets of New York, towards the Institute.

"This was fun" Isabelle said abruptly, a happy smile on her face. She truly did enjoy the date, a lot more than she was initially expecting too.

"That it was" Talia responded, a smile on her face as well. While not as crazy as some of the dates she had with Hope, it was still fun in it's own ways. Something she knew she'd have to remember, each of her adorable mates would have different date preferences, so she'd have to make sure to only go on dates that they'd actually enjoy.

As they stopped at the small park like area near the institute, Talia inwardly smiled as she saw the pondering look on Isabelle's face, before just as Hope's did, it steeled.

"Hey Talia, can-can you close your eyes?" Isabelle asked, not at all making what she wanted to do, obvious (sarcasm).

"Whatever you want, love" Talia responded, acting as if she didn't know exactly what this girl was planning on doing.

Closing her eyes, Talia listened at the slight shuffling sound, before she felt a warm, plump sensation against her lips.

'Wow' Talia thought, taking in the sensation of Isabelle's lips on her own. Her lips were plumper than Hope's, and had an almost strawberry like flavor to them.

Talia threw out all hesitation as she gripped Isabelle's bubbly ass in her hands, causing a soft moan to escape Isabelle's lips. Talia ignored the sensation of their mate bond cement, as she slipped her tongue inside Isabelle's mouth, dominating her completely.

Isabelle on the otherhand, was completely flabbergasted at the rapid progression of events. Going from her kissing Talia, to her turning to complete putty in Talia's arms, to her now jumping into Talia's arms, who wrapped her up from under her thighs.

Letting out a breath, Talia looked to Isabelle with a small smile.

"Why don't we take this to my room, girlfriend?~"
