"Welcome home Shu," said Haruka while raising her can of beer proudly.

"It's still early for that, Mom" as he points at her beer. Not that it's the first time this thing happens.

"I will make dinner after a bath, wait for a minute. And you need to stop drinking, drink more water. I hope you can get sobber up before eating dinner"

Shu put his bag in his room and take a quick bath, after finish it. He makes fried rice with sunny side egg as a topping. A simple dinner so Haruka doesn't need to wait too much time. After cleaning up the kitchen he takes the dinner in the table.

"Mom, dinner's ready" Shu didn't get an answer, so he comes to the living room just to find Haruka sleeping on the couch. He carries her up and bring her to her room, pull the blanket and put Haruka down on the bed.

"Good night Mom," Shu took his leave after kiss Haruka's forehead.

Shu puts Haruka's dinner in the refrigerator and walking to his room. After lay on the bed, he opens his smartphone and read some news on it. He founds a wanted criminal was caught at noon in the same warehouse that he found Inori. Of course, it's not Inori. It's someone else, the scapegoat that I prepare for this occasion. Everything's according to the plan. Mountain of book that I read for more than 10 years is really helpful.

I can't wait for tomorrow, something more interesting will come.

I experienced many things in the past. Betrayal, regret, envy, wrath, arrogance, love, broken heart, and many more. After losing my vision, my mind is calmer. I keep thinking if only I do this or that. Maybe the outcome will be different. But, it's useless to think like that.

Until God gives me a second chance.

Will the outcome change? Can I make Inori and Hare alive? I don't know, the answer is still vague.

Our enemies are strong. But I will go stronger to face them, it's just the timing isn't right. "Be patient Shu"

Shu turns on the computer, entering the password and send an email to someone. After making sure the email delivered, he turns it off and prepares to leave for school.

Shu makes a cup of double shot espresso for himself, and a green tea with honey for Haruka. For the meal, he made a bowl of oatmeal for Haruka and a simple bread with egg for himself. Why do I make such a simple dish? Because when your cooking stat is at max, every meal that you make will be delicious regardless of the ingredient.

"Hnggh, my head" Said Haruka while touching her head

"Come here Mom, Breakfast is ready" Shu makes a final touch before heading toward Haruka while bringing a glass of water.

"Here, drink it slowly and sober yourself"

"Thank you Shu"

"I finish everything, you only need to eat your breakfast and be ready to work. I'll go first"

"Mmhm, Don't worry about me. Mom is tougher than you thought" Said Haruka with a proud look on her face.

"I doubt it..., then I'm off" Shu takes his bag, get a last glance at Haruka before walking off.

After closing the door of his apartment, the first thing he saw is her childhood friend. Even though he knows the reason, he still asks her the question.

"What are you doing Hare?"

"Nothing, Let's go" Immediately after saying it, she left like a kitten

"Tch, as usual, such a hard task" After reading the text, someone is knocking the door. He doesn't bother to close the email and tell the guy outside the door to come in.

"Sorry to bother you" Said the guy while bowing his head

"Is it done?"

"Yes, everything is clear"

"At least one thing is over..., another one just come. I will tell you the detail in the meeting. Prepare for it and wait for next order"

"Yes, this subordinate understand" After bowing for the last time, the guy leave the room.

The mysterious man leans back on his chair and looks at the ceiling.

The mysterious man looks out the window and looking at the sky without any particular reason.

Shu finishes writing his reply and waiting for Hare to come. It only takes a minute before Hare comes up and sit in front of Shu.

"Do you believe it Shu, the new mayor in the city makes new rules, not only one, but a whole page"

Hare said it with an angry look on her face.

"Hmm, I'm not opening news corner yet, so I don't know the detail. But, everyone in the school was talking about it. So, I know some of it"

"I can't believe it, not even a year passed after the previous mayor sudden death. The new mayor's already reforming some of the rules"

"Relax Hare, You'll never know the effect it causes before it starts. Wait, for a while. Maybe the new rules will make our life easier"

"You side with the new mayor!" said Hare with a pouting face.

"Let's not talk about that boring topic. Our food will go cold if we do not eat it now" Shu said as he pointing his finger at his food.

"What are you doing Shu?"

"Hmm, nothing let's eat"

The fish finally take the bait, I can't wait to see it. I hope this one doesn't disappoint me. After taking the last glance outside the window. Shu eats his lunch with a never-ending-smile Hare in front of her.

Such a peaceful day. I hope it will last longer.
