Ch- 4 : RAIN-CHECK!!!?!

As Amy finished her ice cream, she brushed her hands together to clear off any lingering crumbs and made her way back to her bicycle. She felt a sense of satisfaction from the sweet treat, though a tinge of disappointment lingered since her plans to meet Mia had fallen through. Still, Amy decided she should head home quickly to avoid making her parents more worried.

As she reached her bike and began to unlock it, she heard the sound of heavy footsteps behind her. A chill ran down her spine as she turned around to see a group of unknown men approaching her. Their expressions were intense, and one of them smirked menacingly.

"Hey, where do you think you're going so fast?" one of the men called out to her. Amy's heart raced, and she instinctively tightened her grip on her bike. She could feel the situation escalating, and she knew she had to act quickly.

Amy kept her composure and tried to remain calm. She turned away from the men and began to pedal her bicycle as fast as she could. She heard the men shouting and taunting her, but she didn't look back. She focused on getting away from the park and into a safer area.

As she rode away, Allen was nearby, searching the park and its surroundings for Amy. He heard the shouts from a distance and immediately recognized the voice as aggressive. Alarmed, he rushed toward the source of the shouting, knowing Amy could be in danger.

Allen's heart raced as he pedaled his bicycle faster, searching the lanes and paths around the park. He finally spotted Amy pedaling away quickly, with the group of men not far behind her. He knew he had to act fast to help her.

Allen called out to Amy as he approached, trying to catch up to her. "Amy! Amy, over here!" he shouted, hoping to draw her attention and guide her away from the men. Amy turned and saw Allen, relief washing over her as she made her way toward him.

With Allen by her side, Amy felt a sense of safety. The two quickly rode their bicycles away from the park, putting distance between themselves and the pursuing men. Allen led Amy through quieter streets, taking a longer route to avoid any further encounters with the group.

Eventually, they reached a safer area, and the men had given up their pursuit. Amy was visibly shaken but grateful that Allen had been there to help her.

"Thanks, Allen," Amy said, her voice still trembling.

"No problem, Amy," Allen replied, offering her a reassuring smile. "I'm just glad you're okay."

The two continued on their way back home, Amy's brush with danger leaving her grateful for her cousin's timely arrival.
