Venting Out At The Police Station

Caroline sat silently at the police station, eagerly awaiting her fate. She no longer cared what would become of her, all she wanted was for her parents, Yasmine and Tyler, to pay for the pain they had caused her.

After ruining her life, did they really think she would let them walk away without consequence? She refused to let them go unscathed, they deserved a much harsher punishment than she.

Family, kinship, fiancé... what a joke. They were nothing but meaningless titles to her now. She had lost her innocence and her virginity on her engagement night, leaving her with nothing left to hold on to.

As she sat at the table, there was a knock that brought her back to reality.

The police officer in front of her had been trying to get her statement, but Caroline had been ignoring him. It was evident in her blank expression and lifeless eyes that there was no soul left within her.

Some of the policemen couldn't help but feel pity for her, despite not knowing the details of her case. But others believed she must have committed a grave sin to end up in this situation.

"Miss Clark, remaining silent will only worsen your situation. It's best if you cooperate with us soon," the officer implored, growing impatient and tapping his fingers on the table with each word.

Finally, Caroline looked up at him, giving him a glimmer of hope that she was ready to speak. The other officers leaned in, eager to hear her statement from her own lips.

Their colleagues who had arrested Caroline had briefed them on the situation, but they wanted to hear it from her.

However, to their disappointment, Caroline did speak, but it was not what they expected.

"Can you all just leave me be?" she muttered, her words heavy with bitterness and disappointment. "I have nothing left to say. However, I need a favor from you... Can you lend me your phone? I would like to make a call," she said softly. Her tone was neither rude nor respectful.

The policeman looked at her for a moment before sighing and reluctantly handing her his phone. "Make it quick!" he ordered.

Caroline extended her handcuffed hands to take the phone.

After making a brief call, she simply said, "I am at the central police station. Please come get me."

Without further explanation, she ended the call and handed the phone back to the policeman, much to his shock.

"That's it?" he asked, stunned.

Caroline simply nodded, leaving the people around her in shock. Who did she call with such short statement?

Before anyone could speak, Emma and Daniel arrived on the scene.

"Officer," they said in unison, giving a slight nod.

"Mr. and Mrs. Clark!" the policeman exclaimed.

"How is everything going, officer?" Daniel asked with no apparent concern in his tone.

The policeman shook his head in defeat. At this point, all they could do was wait for the Riverdales to arrive.

One of the policewomen spoke up, her voice laced with annoyance. "Young girl, keeping quiet won't do any good. Just cooperate and save us from this torture."

Caroline raised her head and coldly stared at her before sneering. "You want me to speak? Fine, but make sure you write down every single word," she spat furiously, then turned to face the policeman interrogating her with sharp eyes.

The room fell into a tense silence as everyone anxiously awaited Caroline's words.

"As you already know my name, I will skip that part. I am a child who loved and cherished my family. I gave them my all, regardless of the outcome. I never let my emotions get in the way; all that mattered to me was their well-being and happiness. I never cared much about myself because of them.

However, two weeks ago was supposed to be my fucking engagement. But guess what happened?" Caroline's words were filled with a deep anger.

Silent were the onlookers, their undivided attention fixed on her, their eager eagles poised for her next utterance.

In spite of all this, Daniel couldn't resist butting in. "Caroline, don't stir up a commotion here. Have you forgotten--"

"Oh, be quiet!" Caroline erupted, rising to her feet and glaring daggers at her father as she slammed her cuffed hands on the desk. How dare he?

"What? Are you afraid of the world discovering your hypocrisy? Well, guess what? The police require my statement and I cannot withhold any information. Weren't you the ones who called them to arrest me?"

Having said that, she settled back into her seat and turned her gaze back to the officer.

"Now, where were we? Ah, yes. Let me tell you what happened on the night of my engagement." She said with a nonchalant attitude before becoming serious again as she remembered everything.

"My hypocrites and supposedly loving parents, along with my wicked sister, drugged me and forced me to sleep with a stranger. A total unknown man took away my innocence because of my own damned family.

They wanted to gather evidence to incriminate me so that their precious eldest daughter could have my fiancé without anyone pointing fingers at her for her audacity.

But do you know the most agonizing part? My scumbag childhood sweetheart and former fiancé told me he never loved me.

He confessed that the only person he ever loved was my conniving sister, who puts on a façade of love but is truly evil to the core!

And if that wasn't enough, my parents and the very ones who wronged me in the worst way, kicked me out of the house, deeming me a disgrace to their name." Caroline raged, her eyes blazing with fury.

Tears glisted in her eyes, but her stubbornness refused to let them fall, causing her eyes to turn red.

"Caroline, that's enough! Haven't you shamed our family enough?" Daniel interjected sternly, his eyes warning her to not say anything more.

Nevertheless, Caroline paid him no mind and focused solely on the police officer.

"You must be wondering why I harmed that scumbag son of the Riverdales and my asshole ex fiance!" She asked, and the officer nodded subconsciously, as if in a trance.

"Well, as I said... I was a good and obedient daughter. From my earliest days, I have strived to be a good and obedient child. However, even the most patient individual has their limits, and I could no longer contain my frustration and indignation towards my sister.

And then, to make matters worse, my scumbag of an ex-fiance attempted to attack me. In a moment of self-defense, I grabbed a nearby vase and used it to defend myself.

And yet, here I am, handcuffed and interrogated, while they roam free. The loss of my virginity is not what pains me the most, it is the betrayal of those I loved.

Instead of talking to me about Yasmine's love affair with my ex fiance, they resorted to underhanded tactics to destroy me. Am I in the wrong for defending myself from his attack? They all deserve to pay for their deceit and betrayal."

Caroline's outburst of pain, as she relentlessly hits her handcuffed hand against the table, only serves to display the depth of her frustration and grievance.

As the police and even the criminals brought in for questioning witness Caroline's state, they can't help but feel pity for her.

In that moment, all eyes turn to Daniel and Emma with disdain and disgust.

One of the criminals breaks the somber silence, his anger visible on his face. "People like them are the scum of the earth! They deserve to rot in jail. I swear, I would kill my own parents if they were capable of such disgusting actions!"

His outburst sparks a chorus of agreement as everyone points accusing fingers at Daniel and Emma, reprimanding them for their actions.

Caroline's words need no further validation. Her emotional outpouring is a testament to the pain and suffering she has endured.

Just looking at her is enough to make one's heartache. Her eyes are devoid of any semblance of life or desire. All that remains is an overwhelming sense of rage and indignation.

The clamor and noise in the room reach a deafening level, as the police struggle to calm the agitated crowd.

"Quiet!"

The sudden command, spoken with a deep and authoritative voice, echoes throughout the room, silencing everyone.

The policemen immediately stand at attention, showing their utmost respect for the person who spoke. Fear and Respect evidence on their faces as some of the criminals wondered who the newcomer might be...
