"Be careful," Sophia said softly.
Uzana nodded. He turned around, taking a few steps before pausing and looking back at Sophia. "Oh, and one more thing. I don't know if you've heard this news yet, but Princess Aria had a miscarriage," he said.
"She concealed the miscarriage to make sure Ragnar would still marry her. But she's like every other girl who has carried Ragnar's child. They all suffered miscarriages before the sixth week."
Sophia's face showed concern for Aria upon hearing the news. "That's heartbreaking," she whispered.
King Aric didn't inform her about any of this. Instead, Sophia thought that Ragnar and Princess Aria must have married in Thidal without letting her know.
Uzana's expression softened. "It is," he replied.
Sophia couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt. She knew that her actions had not only affected her and Ragnar but had consequences for others as well. "I hope she finds peace and happiness," she said sincerely.
