Pain

"Oh hey guys. What are you doing ere?"he sounded surprised. We all kept looking t him. He took the book in the private room.

"I really didn't expect you to come right now, how are you doing Sama? " his pitch is a little higher today. "I'm doing just fine ....but you're definitely not. Why are you so surprised to see us today?"

"Uhm well, I was so much into reading the book that you guys startled me when you came. " he looked at Crusella. "I will have to steal her from you for now ."he pulled my waist closer to himself as he smiled at Crusella."Yeah, sure.You can always take her anytime you want and anywhere."

"Does she know about , you know....us?"I whispered to him.

He pretended as if he didn't hear. We walked to his room and he closed the door. "Look, everyone knows about us. They knew this before you or me even got to know it." that sounded more scary.

I couldn't hold my curiosity so I immediately asked him." What do you mean?"

He exhaled like he wasn't in the mood to explain."I really can't explain it now it's too complex for me too. Even I am not sure of how exactly." he looked bothered and I couldn't just sit there and watch him like this. I went over to him and rested my head on his back as I wrapped my arms around him.

He turned to look at me and smiled."You're seducing me even when you know the consequences."

His voice was low and deep just like Sam's. But his was a little older. I was dumbstruck ."W..well, I didn't seduce you. " I quickly retreated in embarassment.I pouted my lips. He came closer and looked at me as he smiled. 'What on earth is he thinking?' my inner voice had to wonder.

"W....what are you doing?"I felt my lips move.

"Looking at what I was blessed with. " He inched closer and locked my lips in his. The kiss was aggressive and needy and I responded accordingly. He carried me to the couch and lay me down. He was about to take my shirt off when he suddenly stopped. "It hurts." I heard him say as he groaned in extreme pain.

He rolled down on the floor and I rushed to his side.

"What happened Daniel?Where does it hurt. " My heart was beating fast as I looked worried. "Help, Crusella." I called but it seems no one is outside.Daniel kept groaning and soon he started jerking uncontrollably. "My veins.....my blood, its so hot. It burns. Help me." He struggled to talk as tears rolled down my cheeks continuously.I woke up.

I woke up and saw Sam with a frown on his face. "Are you okay?"he kept asking but I wasn't listening ."D..Daniel...w ..what's going to happen to him now? Will he get help. I couldn't help him." I was crying.

He tried calming me down as he cuddled me. I wished to go back to sleep. I wanted to save him. I closed my eyes but I couldn't sleep. I closed them so tight I thought I would hurt myself. I couldn't find any sleep.

Sam carried me to the bathroom to freshen up. "I'm sure he got help."

I washed my face and looked at Sam in the mirror. He looked worried but also angry. I turned to him and wrapped my arms around his neck."Why are you angry?" I asked him with the sweetest voice possible.He didn't even look at me. He was facing down pretending to be busy with something.

"Nothing. You go and freshen up I'll be in the room.He left quickly before I could hold onto him tighter.

I got into the bathtub with a lot of thoughts. I remembered how Daniel groaned in immense pain. I couldn't tell everything to Sam because I didn't want him to know what we were doing before Daniel got hurt. I was so deep in thoughts that I didn't even realise how much time had passed.

Sam was waiting impatiently in the room. He started getting worried since it was already 2 hours. He knocked at the door but there was no response from the other side. He panicked and pushed the door open.

"Ahhh! " "Ahhh!"We shouted at the same time.

He closed the door as fast as he could leaving me in an awkward situation. I wrapped my body in a towel and went to the closet to get myself clothes. It was already morning and I couldn't go back to sleep so I put on a casual dress.

When I got done I opened the door but the room was empty. 'Where'd he go? Is it because of what happened?'

Too bad he had to see me naked like that. I was feeling so embarassed.I moved to the living room but he wasn't there so I went to the kitchen. There he is. My prince is gulping down a glass of water. It sure doesn't look like the only one. I didn't notify him about my coming. I kept looking at my prince as he struggled to drink more water.

"How long have you been standing there? What are you admiring?" he turned around and smirked.

He came closer and placed my stray strand of hair in place.

"Actually.....I thought you left." he put a fake surprise expression. "Why should I leave? I can't be so foolish to let my woman be touched by another man again." I was a little confused by his words."What are you talking about?" he sighed and sat down on the couch.

"That attack that Daniel had. It happens when he is trying to be intimate with you. It happens to all of his kind." he suddenly stopped realising the damage he had caused. I was so shocked I held my breath.

"H..How do you know all this? " I couldn't believe my ears.

He laughed nervously as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Uhm...ah...actually I just thought so. Maybe that's the reason . How can I possibly know anything." His lie was on his lips but I decided to believe him.

He got up and looked at his wristwatch and picked up his jacket to leave."I have some important matters to attend to. I will leave now." Just like that, he left. I checked my email and as usual there were lots of them.

I am glad that my relationship with Jack was mature ad we continued talking.

Dani was waiting for me and listened to all her torments. She said all kinds of words to me but I was used to her and that is why she was my friend. We weren't too close to talk about secrets and personal matters but that was okay with us. We didn't have a lot of misunderstandings since there was nothing to hide.

Sam's POV

"I didn't expect it but it happened. I am only wondering how he got the attack? Who's the other third? It's been long since trisouls existed. It is less spoken about in the books and even my tutors don't know much about them. There was only one trio since the beginning of time. They didn't make it though.The major third couldn't hold it in longer. We can't let this happen again. There's still one question in mind. Who is the other third?"

There was a heated argument in the room as they discussed about the matter.

Back at school

Sama was in the library reading some books when she felt something in her skin tingle. It was on her left shoulder. It felt itchy but she couldn't scratch it. She felt like taking her fingers inside her skin to scratch but couldn't.

She kept scratching even if it was useless. It felt like something was moving around her shoulder.

Soon it was time to go home but the itching and scratching on Sama's side.She entered her room but the itching wouldn't stop. "Maybe I should have a shower. It will surely cool it down." When water got in contact with her left shoulder it hurt more. "Ahhh....ouch"

I scratched hard but they was no mark surprisingly. I was surprised. My skin was normal with no signs of scratching. That was a surprise.

I went tom my bed and closed my eyes. This time I didn't see Daniel or Crusella immediately.
