"Oh my God. You're Mia, right? That famous young singer?"

Mia just nodded quickly as her hand hid the gun she was carrying under her clothes. Mia wiped away the tears that were wetting her cheeks before she looked at the driver.

"Sir, can you take me to the Infinite Company? They should be in this city," Mia said hesitantly. The girl sighed in relief when the driver nodded. Fortunately, she remembered looking for information about Victor's job before this.

Mia only knew that she had to meet Victor as soon as she could. She was worried because Victor was talking to her before he suddenly disappeared. 

"May I have your autograph, Miss? My son is your big fan."

Mia smiled a little when the driver chose not to ask much about her problem and asked for Mia's autograph instead. Mia took the initiative to help the driver find a pen or marker in the car before scribbling her signature with trembling hands on the photo of a father and son that the driver kept in his car.

Mia's emotions turned sad when she saw the portrait of the driver looking so happy with his son. It's like the photo of Enzo and Mia. Mia no longer knew when they started to change because they had never even fought before this.

Mia realized that the medicine she had been taking did not make her happy. The medicine only gave her illusions and other negative emotions that Mia had never felt before.

Mia even began to feel that she could no longer control her own body. Her mind was foggy. Mia didn't even remember why she had to act recklessly.

"Ugh."

Mia could only hiss silently when not only her hands, but her legs were also shaking slowly for no reason. Mia's entire body slowly felt a pain that the girl had never felt before. It felt tight and painful just because Mia hadn't had the chance to take her share because Lily forbade her from going out since morning.

"We're here, Miss."

"Thank you."

Mia spoke softly as her trembling hands handed over some money she had previously managed to take from her cousin's men. She got off with staggering steps. The discomfort in her body had only grown stronger since she started feeling it.

Mia took a deep breath as her unsteady body quickly stepped into the tall building area with a large 'Infinite Corporation' written on the top of the building. Mia had just about to step into the company yard when a security guard stopped her. A security guard's hand grabbed her hand without permission, stopping Mia, who originally wanted to enter.

"Please wait a moment, Miss. Everyone who comes must report before they can enter. Who are you? What is your business here?"

"I-"

Mia's words stopped when she caught the figure of Victor, who had just come out of the company building with Leon. With all her strength, Mia tried to release the security guard's hand before she ran to hug Victor, who was very surprised by her actions.

"Victor!"

Hearing a familiar scream, Victor, who had just come out, immediately turned his head and unconsciously hugged Mia back when the girl hugged him tightly as soon as they met again.

"Mia, how could you-"

"I'm sorry, Boss. I'll take her out now."

Victor's eyebrows furrowed when the security guard who was trying to chase Mia dared to cut him off. Realizing that he was wrong, the security guard lowered his head in shame. Victor finally just let out a long sigh. It seemed natural that the security guard suspected Mia because the girl had come wearing only pajamas.

"She's my acquaintance. You can go now."

While hiding Mia's face from people, Victor helped Mia into his company while also being helped by Leon. Several of Victor's employees who were trying to gossip immediately shut their mouths tightly when Leon gave them a clear warning look. Only when the three of them had successfully entered the special elevator did Victor release his embrace and look at Mia, who was staring at him with teary eyes.

"What's wrong, Mia? Why do you look like such a mess? Did you get into trouble? These past few days... you haven't contacted me either."

Leon could only pretend to be an invisible man who watched with a proud face as his usually heartless boss was worrying about Mia. Leon once again selflessly helped Victor open the door, as Victor led Mia into his private office while he stayed outside to guard the room.

"Enzo is angry. He... he changed my number and didn't let me go out after he found out I exchanged messages with you. B, but that medicine made me fight Enzo. Victor... earlier, you were at my house. But because of Enzo, you disappeared from my sight. I... before I knew it, I ran out of the house after that."

"Medicine? Wait, Mia. Let me see your face."

Victor, who initially didn't pay much attention to the girl's face, immediately asked Mia to lift her face after that. When Mia finally lifted her face, Victor, who was usually calm, couldn't hold back his surprise. In front of him now, Mia's pale face greeted him. Only now did Victor realize that the tremors in Mia's hands were not because the girl was afraid of something. But her whole body was currently shaking, and Mia seemed to no longer be able to consciously control her movements.

Seeing the emergency, Victor immediately asked Mia to sit anywhere before he went out to talk to Leon. Leon was also surprised to see Victor come out quickly. But his face immediately became serious when he saw Victor come out with deeply furrowed brows.

"Leon, call the doctor. Mia... seems to have consumed something without Enzo's knowledge."

After giving orders to Leon, Victor went back inside to see Mia occasionally crying while sitting on the sofa. Victor's hand gently rubbed Mia's cheek. His heart sank as he saw Mia looking so frightened and broken.
