"You useless bastard! Who allowed you to read all that crap, huh?! No one in our family will become a police officer! They are our family's arch-enemy, understand?! Damn, I even wonder why I gave birth to a stupid son like you back then."
David stared blankly as his eyes stared at the sheets of paper scattered on the floor of his room. His ears were ringing slightly from his mother's previous blow. David slowly crouched down to tidy up the papers his mother had thrown so cruelly.
"I'm sorry, Mother. I'll burn them all after this."
David obediently tidied up all the mess when his mother pushed his head hard once more. His dark eyes focused on the papers when he no longer knew what his mother was doing in his private room at this time.
