Chapter 99
My alarm went off pretty loud and deafening. Frowning eyebrows as he opened his eyes and saw the alarm clock on my right side. Seven in the morning. My nose smells the aroma of butter that is so tempting to the stomach. I got up scratching my head and walked out of the room.
My eyes widened when I saw the figure of a shirtless man busy with kitchen utensils, not far from him my son was sitting on a baby bouncer while occasionally laughing at Gilbert. I folded my arms and leaned against the bedroom door while whistling. Gilbert turned around and smiled so sweetly that his dimples were clearly printed.
"Morning, Em," he greeted, carrying a spatula.
"Morning. You off work?" I asked approaching Elsa. I kissed her small body making Elsa squeal with joy. "Have you bathed my child?"
Gilbert nodded as he placed the french toast on the plate. "I think you should rest Em. Let me take care of Elsa today."
