Beautiful
Alex moved back holding Nathan's hand, "Am good thank you?" she said.
James moved his eyes to Nathan, "She says..." he stopped him.
"If she says she okay then am good too" he smiled coldly.
James gulped and moved back, "then I will excuse myself"
The moment he left Alex turned away, touching her belly and trying to breathe.
"Alex are you okay" Nathan held her.
"Am fine, it's just that I had this feeling...." she breathed... "it was new but I kind of liked it and...and..."
Nathan told her to breathe, "Calm down".he kissed her cheek.
She looked up at him smiling, "I have never enjoyed seeing someone ask for my forgiveness but today it was..." she laughed her eyes filling with tears...
"Satisfying" he finished for her. She nodded.
"My fear vanished when I saw him kneel and filled with apprehension like I was that day," she said.
The event went on as if nothing happened. James and his father disappeared soon after.

A slap was heard in the living room of the Hurks mansion.
"What did you do to that girl to make Nathan react that way" his father yelled.
"It was so long ago I didn't think it would haunt me now," he said touching the part his father had just slapped.
"Did you see his face, he knew what you did and just want to see if you could accept it" his father yelled.
"I don't think that bitch told him anything," James said.
His father slapped him, "Mind your tongue boy, that girl you're calling a bitch is now holding our company's future in her hands"
James scoffed, "How can she, we all know Nathan he can't be serious about her and...." he was slapped again.
"Do you remember how scared you were a while ago, how you knelt in front of her? She is now in control of Nathan, I don't care if his not serious about her but right now you hurt someone close to him... And we know he doesn't let go easily" his father said
"But father we can...."
"Can what, you have disgraced me and still have time to talk back. I want you to think of a way to help the company" his father walked away.
James cursed, "It's all your fault, why is Nathan so into you"

"Have you seen Alex?" Nathan asked Becca and Cynthia.
"She was here but disappeared," Cynthia said.
"Why do you keep looking for her, let her be by herself too" Becca yelled.
Nathan pushed her aside and walked away.
He knew Alex didn't enjoy crowded places and had hidden already.
He smiled, "Fountain" he muttered rushing out.
She was sitting in the same spot as earlier.
"You seem to love this spot," he said.
She looked up, "It's the only quiet lovely place here & it's the only place you can find me easily"
He smiled, "You missed the dance"
"You know am not a fan and I didn't have a partner," she said.
He held out his hand, "Am sorry I wasn't able to ask you but we can now" he let out.. "if you're okay with it"
Alex gazed into his warm dark eyes and got up placing her hand into his.
"As always please do guide me," she said.
Gently he pulled her closer and held her waist, "hold my waist" he said and she did then held her right hand with his. "Now move this leg and then this one" he instructed.
Alex obeyed and slowly they moved, swaying to the silent rhythm they had set themselves. Nathan smiled gazing into her eyes as they danced.
"Why are you good at this?" he chuckled.
She laughed, "Can't say but it's my first time, maybe am just a quick learner"
He bent closer, "I agree with that"
She raised her eyebrow, "Hmm, you agreed so fast".
"It's because I agree, I was surprised the day we first kissed," he said
Alex's face blushed, "Ahh, why are you bringing that up" all she remembered about the day was her fainting in his arms.
He laughed, "It was beautiful that's why"
She blinked. "Beautiful.... don't you hate it that I know nothing"
Nathan stopped, Alex's gaze didn't leave his face.
"Why would I hate it when we are experiencing such beautiful things together? It excites and makes me happy every day when I think of all the memories we are going to make" he said... "So please don't worry about not knowing anything and just focus on us".
