Un-Solo Leveling

This is my new fan-fiction work. A story of someone who gets a chance to reincarnate into the world of Solo Leveling. It's an alternate universe where Jin Woo's decision to reverse the time ended up badly for the Earth's future so he needs to fix it, but he needs someone's help. A young man's soul is chosen to help him save the Earth by going to the past. The young man receives the power to grow stronger in the world where Awakeners can't get stronger after their awakening, just like Sung Jin Woo, but not really the same. With his power, he is determined to keep getting stronger and protect the Earth. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I have uploaded up to +30 chapters in my Patreon page. 94. Peek A Boss

Shiddarth Bachchan tanks the Giants' attacks with his gigantic magic shield for a while. He has only been tanking for a few seconds, but the Giants have already attacked him so many times.

They are incredibly fast for their sizes and there's no need to even talk about their strength. Each attack is enough to throw an S-Rank Tank away. Even Shiddarth would have been pushed back if he didn't get buffed by Indra.

He tanks the Giants' attacks only for 15 seconds. That's the amount of time he needs to pull all the Giants toward him. Even the one furthest away from him is now gathering in front of his shield with the other Giants.

"UNCLE! THAT'S ENOUGH!" Indra shouts at Shiddarth when the Giants finally gathered.

Shiddarth nods before activating another skill, "REFLECTION!"

His magic shield is covered with a thick yellow aura when he activates the Reflection skill. As the name suggest, this skill reflects the enemies' attacks back at them at full force in the form of shockwaves.

That should be the case if Shiddarth is in normal condition. But with Indra's buffs, the attacks are reflected at 200% of their original power.

So when the Giants hit the magic shield, their attacks return at them as shockwaves with twice their attack power.

The ones in the front are being pushed back by their own attacks, so now they are really gathered in 1 spot that's not so close to the Hunters.

Indra quickly casts his Barrier Magic to trap the gathered Giants before they can get closer and attack again. He needs to wait for Shiddarth to push them back because they were too close to Shiddarth before.

Now the Giants have been trapped inside his barrier and they won't be able to come out. They are trying to break the barrier by hitting it as strong as they can, but they can't even shake it.

"Good job, Uncle."

"I told you to stop calling me Uncle. I'm not that much older than you."

"22 years isn't that much older in your opinion?"

Indra has been calling Shiddarth as Uncle which isn't liked by the guy. Indra is 23 now and Shiddarth is 45, so it's actually reasonable for him to be called Uncle.

Though the main reason is because Shiddarth is behaving like those Uncles in the big family. They have a chat group for National Level Hunters and he is the most active there.

The problem is, he becomes the most active by sending those unreliable news he finds online, sending dad jokes, sending those old people's greeting pics, gifs, or videos, and he often just shares anything he finds online to the group.

He sends too much stuff in that group that the other National Level Hunters need to make another chat group without him so they can talk about real important stuff without worrying about their chats being buried by his spams.

Anyway, now that the Giants have been trapped, Shiddarth and Il Hwan can return to the Gate to inform the other team members and call the Hunters outside who'll collect the resources.

Indra will stay here with his sister to keep the Giants inside the barrier. But he actually also has another plan, which is why he can only guard this place with his sister because he needs to keep it a secret from others.

He has told Jin Woo and Il Hwan about this secret plan too because he needs them to keep the other Hunters away so as to not disturb this plan.

Well, this secret plan isn't something like stealing prey by fighting alone or an evil plot. Indra simply wants to make sure the boss can't leave its room by blocking its room entrance with his barrier while the Hunters collect the resources.

But he needs to keep it a secret because he will use his secret skills, the Clone, Shape Shifting, and Stealth skills.

He will make 2 clones that will stay in their current location. A clone will transform into Dewi so if someone comes to check on them, it will still seem like he and Dewi are still there.

His 2 clones also will maintain the barrier that traps the Giants. Meanwhile, he and Dewi will go to the boss room to place the barrier that will block the boss.

Actually, he could go alone. But his sister insists on joining him because she wants to use her new skill, a Stealth skill that she got from a runestone she bought in an auction 2 months ago.

She was always jealous that her brother could always sneak out from anything troublesome with his Stealth skill. So she has been hunting Stealth runestone for a long time and finally got it.

But she kept it a secret from anyone other than her family, so even Jin Woo and Il Hwan don't know that she can use Stealth, not to mention the other National Levels.

"So that's the boss. As Mr. Il Hwan said, he is gigantic. No, should I say colossal? Anyway, he's the Giant of Giants. Do you think you can defeat it alone, little bro?"

"Yeah, but it won't be easy. This guy is stronger than Kamish, and obviously more durable. I'm not even sure my barrier can hold him forever."

Dewi is surprised hearing Indra be unsure about his barrier's durability. The barrier that didn't even budge when facing Kamish might break. This is obviously not a good sign.

"Then, can we win against this monster without you or Jin Woo revealing your true power?"

"We can. Everyone is much more skilled now compared to when we fought Kamish. Also, I'm sure everyone has some new skills just like you. They also want to improve themselves."

The current hunters can't grow stronger like Indra. But it doesn't mean they can't improve. They can use equipment to increase their battle power even for a little and the most sought way is getting new skills from runestones.

Runestones are very rarely found and the ones sold in the market are even rarer. The ones who use them often use the runestones themselves or their Guilds will use them.

And when they are sold, the competition is very fierce and they are sold in a flash. High-ranking hunters with a lot of money will spend a high amount of money to get new skills that can increase their battle power.

Obviously, the National Levels are no exception. In fact, they might be the ones who want to get new skills more than anyone, especially because they are the only ones who can clear S-Rank dungeons.

In the original plot, they might not have such a desire because they already think they are at the top already. But the appearance of S-Rank Gates one after another has made them realize they need to have more cards up their sleeves.

More dangerous S-Rank Gates might appear and their current skills might not be enough. They are humanity's strongest Guardians, so they can't be defeated or Earth will get destroyed.

That's why they are trying to improve themselves no matter how little it is by using great equipment or getting new skills.

"Hmm? It seems they've started collecting the resources."

Dewi's super sensitive ears pick up the sound of the hunters mining the magic crystals.

"Hehe, I really want to see those S-Rankers' expressions. Their pride must've been scarred because they are working as miners and collectors while they usually order people around with their haughty tones."

Dewi smirks while imagining it.

"They can be displeased however they want. But well, it certainly will be interesting to see their current expressions."

Indra suddenly has an idea and tells his sister about it. She is surprised by the idea and seems to like it, so she agrees.

Meanwhile, the S-Rankers are mining and collecting the resources under the National Levels' watch. As Indra and Dewi thought, they are very displeased with their current task and they keep grumbling.

But they can't protest with the National Level Hunters watching them so closely. So they keep mining even with their sloppy forms. Their mining skills are very bad, but thanks to their power, they can work fast.

Thanks to their inhumane strength, they can finish mining the crystals and collecting the other resources in a short time. Now they just need to transport the resources out of the dungeon.

Jin Woo is helping them carry most of the resources with his spatial storage, so they will be able to transport all the resources here in one go.

But before they can leave the dungeon, they receive a surprise. Dewi is waiting for them in the fork path and gives them a surprising offer.

"You guys, do you want to see the monsters we'll face before leaving? Most of you have never seen S-Rank dungeon monsters with your own eyes before, right?"

The S-Rankers are obviously thrilled, especially the ones who have never seen S-Rank dungeon monsters. They agree without hesitation and follow Dewi to the barrier location.

While the S-Rankers are happy, the National Levels are confused. But they just follow along because they know Indra and Dewi must have a plan.

Besides, they are interested to see how these S-Rankers will react to the S-Rank dungeon monsters and some of them also haven't seen the Giants here, so they are also curious about the monsters.
