14. More Luck

The boss isn't a bigger red monkey, unlike what Indra thought. It's actually a little smaller than the red monkeys he fought before although it still has the size of adult humans. But this monkey has white fur, wearing metal armor on its torso & crotch while wielding a big wooden club.

"..... Are you trying to be a Saiyan?"

It doesn't really look like a transformed Saiyan, but Indra just gets reminded of that when seeing this monkey wearing the body armor.

'Its body & crotch are protected by metal armor that must be sturdy enough to withstand my attacks. The only parts without armor are legs, arms, head, & neck. I need to aim for those places to not damage the armor either because I can wear them to protect myself in future raids. That metal armor is certainly better than leather armor.'

Indra doesn't want to damage the boss's metal armor because he wants it for himself even if it looks funny. No matter how ridiculous it will look on him, he will still wear it because it can protect his life. He can think of better armor when he shows up as Hunter later, but for now, he can only use what he finds.

The white monkey dashes at him at high speed despite wielding a wooden club that's almost as big as its body. It swings the club at Indra from above and Indra dodges to the side. The club hits the ground and cracks appear on the ground while the club is fine.

'Such a hard wood. Also, this damn monkey is really strong. Much stronger than those monkeys outside.'

The white monkey then swings its club sideways toward Indra who is still close, forcing Indra to move even further. It keeps chasing and attacking Indra with its club at high speed. Indra can't see an opening and is forced to keep retreating.

He knows he will get cornered if this goes on, so he needs to find a way out and break this monkey's momentum. Indra keeps his focus and when the monkey swings its club from above, he runs forward instead of retreating.

He gets to the monkey's left side right when the club hits the ground. Then he kicks the monkey's leg from behind very strongly, making it fall on its back. It still holds its wooden club, so Indra quickly kicks its wrists as it falls back.

The strong kick on its wrists forces the monkey to let go of its wooden club. Indra quickly grabs the wooden club and stores it in his inventory before the monkey can grab it again. But then the white monkey suddenly slaps him and sends him flying to the wall.

*BAM*

Indra crashes into the wall and cracks it. He managed to block the slap by crossing his arms, but he was still sent flying like this.

"It hurts, dammit! You really have great strength and durability, huh? .... Eh? Strength?"

Indra finally remembers he hasn't used his debuff skill on this monkey and buff skill on himself.

"Damn! No wonder you are still very strong. Tsk! Take this! Curse of Weakness!"

The white monkey suddenly feels a little weaker because of the debuff. Indra then uses the Blessing of Strength on himself that he forgot too. Then when the white monkey charges toward him despite getting a little weaker, Indra uses Binding Chains on it.

Black chains come out of the ground and bind the white monkey's body, stopping it on its track. It tries to break free, but fails even though the chains are rattling. Indra frowns because this is the first time a monster makes his binding chains like this.

'Will it break my Binding Chains if I don't reduce its strength or if I haven't level up Binding Chains to Level 2 and strengthen its power by raising my intelligence stat? A D-Rank boss already has this much power. Then a C-Rank boss will be much more difficult.'

Indra quickly attacks the white monkey before the duration of Binding Chains ends. He jumps and grabs the white monkey's head with both hands. Then he pulls its head down as he sends his hardened knee to its face.

He keeps doing it until the duration of Binding Chains ends. Indra was aiming for its eyes first, so now it loses its eyesight because he broke its eyes. Its front skull is also destroyed but it's still alive because of its strong vitality.

However, without eyesight, the white monkey can't put up a fight anymore. It attacks randomly before Indra uses Binding Chains again and kills it by destroying its head. Blood splattered on his body, so he will need to clean himself before going home.

His MP is full again after leveling up, so he can heal his injuries now. Indra removes the armor from the dead monkey before storing all of them in his inventory. But he is still covered in blood, so he doesn't change his clothes yet.

'I should wash myself in the river before going home. Using a public toilet or bath is not a good idea because of the blood, after all, so the river is the best choice.'

Although the river water is not really clean, Indra doesn't mind it because he only needs to wash the blood away there. After washing the blood in the river, he goes to his sister's college that's close to the river. He uses the college's washroom to wash himself because the water here is cleaner than the river.

Only after that, he goes home to sleep without minding the commotion caused by him clearing another dungeon. It makes the authority confuse, but Indra doesn't care. He needs to level up and he is also helping them by clearing the dungeons anyway.

Though those people will curse him if he does it after the values of items from dungeons become so high. But now the world still doesn't understand dungeons that much and the values of items from dungeons are still low because they only use them for research.

The Gate in his school has been closed, but they still don't allow the student to come to school because the authorities are still investigating the sudden disappearance of that D-Rank dungeon. Indra is more than happy to have more days off, so he can do whatever he wants.

He sends his brother to school in the morning before doing physical exercises. He jogs around the city to find any Gates. With his stamina, he can run around many districts in Bali at high speed without getting tired.

His luck is quite good today because he finds a Gate that hasn't been reported. He doesn't know whether it's because this Gate has just appeared or no one saw it. Its location is very hidden as it's located in an abandoned construction site that's closed from all sides, after all.

"It would be very bad if this Gate appeared a few days ago because it can open anytime. Even if this is just an E-Rank Gate, the monsters inside are still very ferocious and can kill the civilians easily. I wouldn't find it if not for my Mapping skill that can even detect Gates."

Indra quickly enters the hidden Gate to clear it before the monsters break out. It's just an E-Rank dungeon, so he is confident he can clear it quickly. The dungeon interior is like a big basement and the monsters inside are Gnolls, Human-Hyena monsters.

They use weapons like goblins, but they are bigger than Goblins. Still, they are just E-Rank monsters like goblins, so they are just as weak. Indra kills them easily and reaches the Boss's room in half an hour.

He could reach it faster if the dungeon isn't too wide. Furthermore, Indra is testing a few things while fighting them. But he doesn't use magic skills on these normal E-Rank monsters, only using his battle skills.

The boss is a 2-headed Gnoll that's a bit bigger than the normal ones. It's a little stronger than normal D-Rank monsters, but it doesn't pose any threat to Indra. He is using the boss as an experiment subject for his magic skills though.

Indra uses the Blessing of Strength, Curse of Weakness, Binding Chains, and even Heal on the boss after beating it up quite badly. He is using the E-Rank boss to increase his skills' proficiencies. But the stupid monster just keeps attacking him until he runs out of mana and decides to kill it.
