The protective barrier lifts and the group enters. Right after they enter, Hideo lifts the barrier back up. "Good luck out there kids. Please be careful." After that, they glance around the place for a bit. Enfoure begins to speak, "The Blackout is for hiding the threat from outside, acts a barrier, Yose. He nods and looks at Zelah and Cali then starts speaking, "I haven't seen you two in action yet." Zelah and Cali exchange a look but say nothing. Zelah is the one to speak."Well, we're not exactly fighters..."Cali nods her head but also says nothing. "I am a healer for now, I am able to use reverse life force energy. I haven't awakened my actual technique yet" Zelah says. Enfoure raises his eyebrow, "You have such control over your life force energy at just D rank? That is impressive, Zelah" Zelah blushes a bit but responds, "Thank you, I am trying my best." Cali begins to speak, I may not be crazy or insanely strong like Yose but I am a fighter type methodology user. I have awakened my technique a few months ago." She continues, "My technique is called 'Reverb'. It allows me to amplify the power of any hits I land. When I strike something, a wave of vibration spreads out, amplifying the attack's strength. This allows me to punch far above my weight class and deal massive damage to opponents even much stronger than me. The more I strike an opponent, the stronger the effects of my technique becomes. This turns my force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, able to take down even the most powerful enemies with my powerful vibrations." "Your technique sounds fascinating. It reminds me of sound waves." Enfoure says."Sound waves?" Zelah asks."Yes, sound waves are vibrations that travel through the air. And your technique is similar, right?" Enfoure continues.Cali nods her head, "That's correct. My technique creates waves of vibrations that amplify my physical attacks."Enfoure is fascinated by this revelation, "So your power is like the echoes of your punch, increasing in strength and power the more you throw. The reason I asked is because I can't just put us in danger without knowing anything you know." "I cannot punch harder than my body can handle you know, that is exactly why I am a D Rank." Then Cali asks a question, "What's your technique Enfoure?" Enfoure smiles and makes a handsign, and spawns a shadow version of himself. "My technique is called Shadow Manipulation. It allows me to control the shadows around me, creating shadows to fight alongside me or surround my opponent. I can also manipulate the shadows in other ways, such as obscuring my presence, creating illusions, or even teleporting through shadows."Enfoure's eyes brighten as he talks about his technique, showing his passion and enthusiasm for its potential.Cali and Zelah are also intrigued and impressed. They both nod in approval, "Your technique sounds incredibly versatile," says Cali. "Thank you," says Enfoure, "The potential for my technique is limited only by my imagination. I am always looking for new ways to use it."Cali raises a curious eyebrow, "So you can pretty much do anything with shadows as long as you can think of the application?"Enfoure smiles and nods, "That's right. I could create shadows to hide in, to strike from, to use as shields or attacks, the possibilities are endless. However, there is a reason I'm a D Rank. My technique is highly limited for now, my life-force energy drains very quickly if I summon shadows more than I can handle." Yose gets impatient and speaks, "If you guys are done with this we got people to save, they might be dying even while we are talking." He gets very serious and begins to walk into the village. Enfoure speaks, "You are right, let's go." They all start to go after Yose.
After a few minutes of walking, they go down a path in the village that leads to a cavern of some sorts and Yose looks down in anger after seeing the scene in front of him. Yose looks down to see a cavern filled with bodies, human bodies, human children's bodies. The sight of the bodies disgust him. He feels a deep rage inside him that he has never felt before. He doesn't even know where it comes from, but it fills him with an intense feeling of rage and disgust. He then raises a question at Enfoure, "The man that was begging us to find his brother. You think he died?" Enfoure puts his hand on Yose's shoulder in reassurance and responds, "We cannot be sure. Let's try to save the survivors first." Yose grits his teeth and speaks, "I will bring every single dead body back to their families right now." Enfoure squeezes his shoulder and speaks, "Not now, we have to save the people that are waiting to be rescued first. Leave the dead bodies for now." Enfoure grits his teeth in anger and squeezes Yose's shoulder tighter and responds, "Don't make Mr. Hideo raise the blackout just for dead bodies, what if the demon decides to strike the moment we bring the bodies back?" Zelah and Cali moves to them to stop this from turning into a fight. "Cut it out, this isn't the time for..." Zelah says. But when Yose and Enfoure turns around, Zelah and Cali are nowhere to be found. How stupid of me! I was careless! Enfoure thinks. "YOSE RUN, WE'LL SEARCH FOR CALI AND ZELAH LATER!" Right in that moment, the demon appears in between them. Staring them down with a cheeky grin. The demon is tall and slender, with a thin frame and long limbs. Its skin is pale white, almost ghostly in appearance. Its face is twisted into a grotesque grin, revealing sharp, pointed teeth. It has no eyes, only deep, endless, black sockets. An aura of pure malevolence and hatred emanates from it, almost overpowering in its intensity. It looks like it could tear apart any living thing with a single touch. Its presence is so intense that it makes Yose and Enfouri's blood run cold, they are unable to move due to sheer fear they feel. The being that are right in between them are undoubtedly, unique rank demon. MOVE BODY, MOVEEEEEE! I HAVE TO SAVE ZELAH, CALI AND OTHER SURVIVORS.
"Where are we? It's completely dark...with the presence of multiple curses. Why are there so many?" Cali asks to herself after being separated from Yose and Enfoure. Zelah shakes from fear but decides to take a fighting stance."
